    how can I talk to a human in the shopify chat help ? I am stuck with a bot that I can not get past, its always saying the same thing and I can not get help with something I am needing a human assistance with. All I ever get is this annoying bot that only says "Can you describe what you need help with? We’ll connect you to the right support team."
    How to turn this annoying bot off so I can get a real response from a human ?

    How i can show that "Automatic Discounts" on product page?, because i see a lot videos about compare price for show discount on product page but no using option discount

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi there José. Typically you would advertise discounts via a banner at the top of your website or by mentioning in the product description that the product in question is eligible for a discount. You can add discount details here. The "Compare at" price is typically used when you've reduced the price of a product for a sale and the customer can then compare the former price of the product against the new, cheaper price.

    I created a discount that automatically applies to a collection. I also have a discount code for regular priced items. But for some reason, if someone adds an item from the discounted collection to the cart, along with a full-priced item and then adds the discount code at check out, an error message “xxx discount code" couldn't be used with your existing discounts. Why is this? What I am doing wrong?

      Hi Liza! Without being able to see your discount setup it will be difficult for us to troubleshoot this with you. I recommend connecting with our authenticated chat support team for further assistance. You can connect with them in our Help Center here: shopify.link/7PNJ. Why the automatic Sale discounts are not visible on Home page? How a customer will judge that there is a discount or not and if there is, then how much.. They have to add to cart the item to check discount

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, Nibs.
      The automatic discount will be applied at checkout. It is not visible on the homepage. If you'd like to alert customers regarding discounts, you can use the announcement bar on the homepage or alert customers through email campaigns.

      @@ShopifyHelpCenter we have run different discount percentage from 20 to 70% we have added on the announcement bar but how can customer judge that how much discount is available on particular product. To solve this issue, do we have to update the individual prices now of 400 products😑

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  7 месяцев назад +1

      The customer would need to navigate to the checkout in order to see the automatic discount available for each product. You can also explore discount apps within the Shopify App Store: shopify.link/YG6a.

    Why doesn’t the discount price show on my products other than once they’re added to the cart?

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  6 месяцев назад

      Hi Gillian! Great question. If you are using a discount code (auto or manual) the discount amount can't be calculated until the item is added to the cart. If the discount has specific requirements for how many items need to be purchased, or a minimum order value, then the discount wouldn't be properly calculated. You can create a template for your product pages though that highlights products available for discount so customers don't miss out on the chance to save.

    What if I want the discount to be applied to multiples of 5?
    Example… Single product price 4.99
    Buy 5 for £20, if customer try’s to buy 6,7,8,9 items the price goes up by 4.99 each time.. once they make it 10 the discount applies again and therefore = £40.

      Hello! Thanks for your comment! That's an interesting question. It sounds like you would need more complex control over how you implement the discounts on your store, so the default options may not suffice. I would suggest checking out some discount apps that enable extra functionality, such as this one that allows you to have volume discounts & quantity breaks: shopify.link/AYma.

      @ShopifyHelpCenter  7 месяцев назад

      Hey, Henri. Thanks for reaching out. While the customizable checkout is only available on Shopify Plus (shopify.link/7b8Q), you can customize the buttons on the cart page. If you're using a Shopify-supported theme, then this is something that our Theme Support team can help you with through the Shopify Help Center (shopify.link/D8kd). However, if you're using a third-party theme, then we'd recommend reaching out to the theme developers or consider hiring a developer to assist you with this task. Should you need help finding a developer, then you can take a look at our directory of certified developers on Shopify Partners (shopify.link/bz4p). Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Why there are no sales badges on products?

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  8 месяцев назад

      Hi, there! Thanks for reaching out. You can add a "Sale" label to your products by setting up your products to be on sale. You can do this following this guide here - shopify.link/vqad.
      Some themes may have an option to disable this badge in the Theme Editor. Make sure to check settings Default product page in Theme Editor. Otherwise, feel free to share which theme you use, and I can check this for you.

      Thanks for the further context! Shopify's built-in discount features provide a good starting point, however leveraging third-party apps and automation tools can help you create a more sophisticated discount system for first-time customers.
      Your next best option would be to install an app from the Shopify App Store right here: shopify.link/JxxB.
      This approach ensures that you can collect email addresses, verify first-time purchases, and apply discounts automatically.

    I know this video is made from AI. But.......
    Hey, great content, and i feel that one day you will definitely build your brand on youtube❤❤,but as a professional video editor i want to say that you are lacking in video editing, see youtube algorithm pushes content on two metrics
    1)cpm
    2)avd.
    and i want to breifly explain Avd.
    It is average view duration, how long people watched your video, and if it is good then algorithm will be your friend and as a professional video editor i know how to keep engaging viewers, how to hit their dopamine, that will definitely help you to build your stuff on youtube. If you are interested we can discuss more.
    Thanks

      Hey, Sanjay! I should clarify that you contacted Shopify and not the store where you placed your order. We are a platform that offers the technology for merchants to set up their virtual stores, but each store operates independently. This means that we do not manage individual stores and each store is responsible for their inventory and shipping the goods.
      Did you receive a purchase confirmation email? If so, I would suggest trying to speak with the seller by replying to that email directly. Another option would be to check if the store’s website has other contact details, such as email, chat or a page with a contact form.
      Have you tried to get in touch with the merchant that way?
