Yes, you are right. I think the straight long ones always have problems. That was also the case at another race.
Assuming the pentominoes always roll vertically in a straight line, the line should always be last because of its low moment of inertia and loss of kinetic energy when it rotates back up from sideways.

I tried this for the rotator but it was extremely difficult (calculation time). I might create some kind of Tetris version where the pieces fly in from the front. That should work.

There is already a Tetris fan game with hexominoes called multimino because one of the game modes is called hextris in which it gives you the 60 one-sided hexominoes it's really fun and the game is like modern Tetris you know you can hold a piece and do a T-spin

@C4D4U Do you even actually play modern day Tetris?
I would love to play a lot of games. Unfortunately, I do not have the time. In the last two years I have bought some games and only had the time to look at maybe half an hour.
The problem is that I enjoy creating animations as much as playing games. Since I can't earn pocket money playing games you know where my priority is ;)
I definitely need to take more time in the future, though. I try my best :)

Yes, some of the single objects coming soon (renderings are ready of 4 Objects (first, second, third place and an other)). But at the moment I am on the way and forgot the files. I think it needs some time. In the meantime I will upload some other videos (from my laptop).

Have you tried autodesk Maya or 3ds max?
I had tried working with 3Ds Max many years ago. I didn't do so well with it. The programs have all evolved, of course, and maybe it would work better for me now. At the moment I haven't had a reason to switch, though Blender and Houdini are very high on my list. When you're very busy, you don't want to spend time learning new software. But maybe the time will come someday.

@@C4D4U Yea so many possibilities, the first time i opened blender I was so overwhelmed but was so stubborn lol, i felt like I didn't need any tutorials and tried to learn with no documentation and I was super wrong. I recently started autodesk Maya as I got it for free with an educational email and man is it a step up from blender. if you know anyone with a school email ending in a dot then their school name you can get all autodesk products for free, you should do it if u have the opportunity.

das ist viel zu viel, was hältst du stattdessen von einem "Turnier", wo man immer runden mit 6 Kämpfern hat oder so
dabei könntest du dann auch immer knappe zusammen in eine gruppe packen
Ha ha ha, das habe ich mir gedacht. Du hast aber recht. Das gleiche gilt übrigens wenn bei einem Rennen die Objekte zu weit auseinander liegen. Die Kamera muss dann immer sehr weit weg und die Objekte sind dann natürlich sehr klein. In diesem Fall wollte ich aber auf alle Fälle alle 35 Objekte komplett drin haben. Ich selbst war eigentlich recht froh dass mir das vor allem mit den frischen Farben relativ gut gelungen ist. War ziemlich aufwändig, denn jedes Objekt musste einzeln bearbeitet werden (auch die schwarzen Kanten wurden nicht automatisch erzeugt sondern in einem separaten Programm). Der Schluss ist meiner Meinung nach aber cool. Ich wollte erst einen Rotator erstellen. Das Ding war riesig und die unteren Objekte wurden alle zerquetscht. Hatte dann keine Lust das über Gravity alles so oft zu testen und machte dann dieses Video. Eigentlich wollte ich jetzt für jede einzelne Figur ein eigenes Video machen (von diesem Rennen). Allerdings dauert das für jede Figur etwa 10-15 Stunden Renderzeit. Einige habe ich fertig aber das wird ja noch Wochen dauern. Mal sehen vielleicht beschränke ich das auf einige wenige. Jetzt mache ich erst einmal Werbung für meinen Marble Run Kanal. Wird in den nächsten Tagen dann auch hier präsentiert ;)
