Oh & we should probably introduce ourselves...
We are Benny and Meeka, a travel couple from Australia who have been travelling on and off for 10 years and even lived in the UK from 2019 - 2021.
We are currently in SE Asia and are making our way back to the UK to reunite with our Mercedes Sprinter van we purchased before the world shut down and we left back to Aus.
About 4 months ago we decided to document our travels as we make our way across the globe, so join us for the ride.

@@bennyandmeeka In the past, the month of December was typically not a rainy month in my country. It marked the transition from the rainy season to the hot summer months of March. However, with the onset of global warming, this weather pattern has drastically changed. Now, even in the month of March, which is supposed to be the peak of summer, my country is still being bombarded with typhoons and storms. This is a stark contrast to what used to happen in the past.
Global warming has had a profound impact on our climate patterns.

You may want to check out Kalanggaman Island in Leyte which is a sandbar and also Camiguin, which is a very beautiful place esp white Island beach.

Bro you should try Negros Oriental. From nightlife in Dumaguete at Balay ni Lola, The Hyde or The Henrys to Sunday chill at Valencia Market and unbeaten paths down south from Siaton-Bayawan.

siquijor is well known for being a mystical island. old folklore says that a lot of filipino mystical creature inhabits the island such as "aswang" or "wakwak". maybe because it has a mystical vibes simply because of how beautiful the beaches and forest are in the island.

i've travelled with a suitcase before... and i always give a sigh whenever i see stairs... and walking in a less crowded street while pulling your suitcase, the tire is a bit loud. so if your backpacking, use a backpack.
if youre staying in just one area and never change hotel for weeks. suitcase is better in organizing.
Backpack 100% unless staying in the same hotel for the whole journey
