Maybe the most brilliant VIDEO in Traditional New Orleans Jazz on youtube since the start of youtube! Can listen to this SORRY => EVERY DAY! ALL soloists are SUPER!
S-E-N-S-A-T-I-O-N-A-L. I’ve watched this clip several times in the past 6 months and my smile gets wider with each viewing. Great number. Wonderful musicians.
Sort of a good mix of firehouse jazz and good old intuitive jazz... great mix of sounds and instrumental textures... I can only imagine Bix's instrumental voice added to this mix.
Can you believe it ..4 thumbs down...? Ill bet these people listen to Johnny Cash …..and love him . Probably one of the BEST renditions of " Sorry" by any group I've ever heard not including the original recording by Bix and band of course. WOW you guys nailed it beautifully...thanks for the eargasims.
Le mie congratulazioni. c.castellano, italia .... but what a good !! It is a "show in ... dixieland, ......" an artistic "Kermes" by "Big" of great musical depth, which have been able to unleash, in their performance, a lot of creativity, imagination, and creativity through that rhythm that is so rhythmic, engaging and overwhelming that it arouses in the audience so much emotion and applause on the open scene. What a show guys, ten and praise !! Congratulations. c.castellano, Italy
The Drummer is Dave Ratajczak, not Gregor Beck. The bass player I can't identify, maybe Linc Miliman. Very fine music. I heard the "Salute to Bix" in Germany with an other personal.
