The 3 pix beginning at 3:20 are the sweetest Colleen Moore ever took - so natural.
Btw the two takes heard are, in fact, -2 and -1, in that order. And Trumbauer plays his release on alto, the sax he used in section playing.
This is a good one.

I prefer the second take
So did Victor, when they originally released it that year. Take 1 was released in 1936.
You’ve got it flipped, the 1st take was on the ‘28 Victor, I just got that 78 a month ago. The 2nd and above “preferred” take was released in ‘36 and is harder to find on the Victor “Scroll type” label, if I can find one though I’ll be sure to get it!
