The flack I received was hilarious and now the whole world for some reason has turned the corner and is with me on this. Geese I wonder why? Lol!! He can be anything in any music that you can present. I say "he can be anything" because he becomes the music. I haven't seen this since Vinnie... Or Jeff. Makes me smile every time I hear him play, no matter what he's doing.
He is good, he is REALLY good. But there are others who are good too, Aric improta of Night verses, check his playing. In the metalcore world though people should be paying attention to Adam Gray, he got the chops.
Yes, I am really new to Eloy, somehow a "who's the new drummer for slipknot?" reaction video came up in my feed, and I knew from the first second of watching that, that this is an incredibly exciting drummer. I said this to my 21 year old nephew who's a bit of a metal head. I said this guy is the most exciting thing to happen to drumming (or music) in the last 25 years!! More or less exactly what you're saying! And I totally see what you mean about him becoming the music and Vinnie and Jeff!
Vinnie is the best drummer in history for Eloy. The influence on the power of the left hand is visible. He learned from the best. He is a musical genius of this century.

Man i am really upset at my self that i have just heard of this man after seeing slipknot play again ,with his skill and energy it breaths life back into fans .joey was my favorite drummer ever but eloys veristility and style from his culture sets him so apart from any other drummer ,i wish this man knew how excited we are to see what he can bring to slipknot and im glad his exposure to me through slipknot has brought me to find so.e of his finest work . Eloy dont let the stress get to you you already have 100 percent of the day one slipknot fans fripping their seats ,jump suits pop up show you played hard as hell keep that energy it is exqctly what this band has been missing. But i havnt bought liste.ed to a full album ,seen a show or watched a show without joey he didnt fot the band it wasnt a comparison ,you not only compare but bring many other styles and rythms into metal .
