    I can see why bloom audio hired you. You have a very particular way of describing things when compared to other reviewers. You could probably sell anything anyone gave you. Great review.

      And make a more premium one with Tia driver for $500

    Hey Matthew which one would you prefer the maxwell or the project m for gaming and music?

    • @MatthewDiFazio
      @MatthewDiFazio 4 месяца назад +1

      Awesome question here! If I had to choose one, I think I’d ultimately pick the Maxwell… though it would come with a lot of consideration! Here’s why:
      For casual gaming, Maxwell is pretty much undefeated. You can even make a very compelling argument that it’s most likely a fantastic headphone for competitive gaming if given the opportunity. I also thinks it’s EQ presets and stock tuning are really good as well, making listening to music very enjoyable. So it’s highly versatile across the board, and I think it would be better (for me) in terms of longer gaming sessions.
      However, I’d much rather listen to music on Project M when compared. Not even close in that regard. For gaming, I think Project M could really hold its own given its incredible sense of detail retrieval and resolution, but I think it’s treble - in a gaming environment - could prove to be too fatiguing for me. Like I said, I’m not much of a competitive gamer (anymore), and have mostly transitioned to casual gaming and more single player focused games, so in my current situation, I don’t need the most resolving set I can find, rather something that gives me an enjoyable sound and complete immersion, thus my choice for the Maxwell. I hope this helps! 😊

    No Apex Module, no Tia driver not aluminium I think the u4s seems like the better value IEM.
    Will have to listen to them side by side

    • @MatthewDiFazio
      @MatthewDiFazio 4 месяца назад

      I would mostly agree that U4s will meet a lot more needs for most listeners. In fact, I’d personally shell out just a little bit more to get the U4s personally. Thanks for checking out the review!

    Very nice review, thank you. And good one for calling out the packaging, that some cheap ass case and cable for something at that price.

  • @maegnificant

    This cable is much better for stage use than audiophile cables. Those would be incredibly annoying.

    • @maegnificant
      @maegnificant 4 месяца назад

      Also no measurements?

    • @MatthewDiFazio
      @MatthewDiFazio 4 месяца назад +2

      It is. MMCX could be a hassle (even off stage, it’s a hassle for me) and IPX is more reliable than 2 Pin. Just a bummer for me as I have an Eros S cable on my Nio, and would need to buy an additional ConX kit had I decided to buy Aspire 4.
      Yeah, no measurements this go around :-/ I wasn’t able to get any provided from 64 Audio, and without our own rig (coming soon, most likely), I had to do this one without measurements. Sorry about that!

    I appreciate the deepest and the most impressive review for 64 Audio Aspire4. If don’t mind, could you recommend 4.4mm BAL cable suitable for Aspire4? Thank you in advance.🙏

    • @MatthewDiFazio
      @MatthewDiFazio 4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for watching! I certainly could! Depending on your budget, there’s quite a few options out there:
      For something nice yet still relatively affordable, Hart Audio makes some nice cloth, balanced 4.4mm IPX cables. I love Hart Audio, and definitely recommend them for all cable needs!
      For something a bit higher end and more premium, Effect Audio’s lineup accommodates IPX connections with their ConX kit. Therefore, you can get anything in their lineup and just pickup a ConX kit so you can swap from MMCX/2Pin/and IPX. I have an Eros S cable personally and I absolutely love it. Ares S is cheaper, and is actually really nice itself as well! I hope this helps :-)

      @@MatthewDiFazio Dear Matthew,
      I can’t thank more on your detailed and professional recommendation.
      I’ve actually considered to order the custom IPX cable to Plus Sound Audio : Specifically X Series.
      However, Hart Audio seems quite attractive in price-wise. Effect Audio could be another solid choice in that I can use it for AKG N5005, Nice HCK Himalaya(I hope this to be reviewed in your channel😀), and Aspire4.
      I’ll be considering all three options down the road until Aspire 4 comes to me :) Please keep uploading review videos. I’ll stay tuned.📺

      @@MatthewDiFazioFinally, I bought Effect Audio Eros S in 4.4mm version. Although I couldn’t connect it to my Aspire 4 due to the absence of IPX, I can’t be happier now.😍
      I’m enjoying Eros S in NiceHCK Himalaya and AKG N5005, waiting for Con-X sets to come next week.

    • @MatthewDiFazio
      @MatthewDiFazio 4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for the order! I actually had a portion of the video where I talked about MKIII and Aspire 4 as I thought their performance in gaming was quite close. I ended up deleting it, but most notably in the staging and imaging, MKIII and Aspire 4 have incredible directional sound accuracy. MKIII may be slightly more engaging overall thanks to its more emphasized top and low end, but I found Aspire 4 to really pull away as the complete package with its comfort and fit being much more accommodating than the shell of the MKIII! Just my thoughts there 😊

    • @MatthewDiFazio
      @MatthewDiFazio 4 месяца назад +1

      @@maegnificant I’ve listened to Mirai and Mega5EST! I liked Mega5EST. After looking at its measurements, it makes sense as to why I did. It’s pretty much exactly in line with what I love in an IEM. Really incredible tonality across the board, and its technical delivery is incredibly impressive as well.
      I definitely need more time with the Mirai. I tried it at CanJam Dallas and was not a huge fan. I saw what it was going for, and think with more time, I’d really learn to appreciate its sound signature.

    Whilst I appreciate the review, it is hard to trust a review from an actual online audio store. It’s basically reviewing gear you want to sell….

    • @MatthewDiFazio
      @MatthewDiFazio 4 месяца назад +8

      I hear you, and do understand where you’re coming from. But in the same vein, dishonesty and misleading customers to purchase products that aren’t the right fit for them would only lead to more returns and more work on our end. We’d rather just express what we think of the product honestly in hopes that the right gear lands in the right hands. I hope this helps give a different perspective!
