I found a similar mazzer mini thrown away an not spinning when I turned it on. Following this video, I was able to thoroughly clean up the inside and it started spinning up again. It was extremely gunked up. Thanks for this video.
Thanks for creating this video. Super straight-forward and was helpful as I was just experiencing issues with my grinder not turning on. I couldn't believe how caked up it was between to lower and upper burrs. Thanks very much!
Mazzer has two main types of electronic dosing grinders, called Type A and Type B. Type A grinders grind by time only, at the push of a button on the control panel. They do not have a means of detecting whether a portafilter is present, so they will grind until the time count is done or the user stops the grinding manually by pressing the button again. Type B grinders also grind by time, but they use a button activated by the portafilter to dispense coffee. If yours is a Type B, with a button right above the portafilter forks, you may need to see a technician to diagnose the problem. It's possible the button is getting stuck, but it could be a control board issue.
Are you at all worried about the bittering agent (the additive designed to deter people from huffing the gas) in the air duster causing off flavors in your grind?

Tnx for tips sir
Could I use ptfe tape on the thread of the upper carrier?
No, that could damage the threads. If the adjustment is slipping you'll need to replace the whole collar.
One question. How many tales did it take to get that prima cup at the end to film right? Lol
I have the same model Mazzer. The grinder keeps grinding even after I pull the portafilter away. Any ideas why it's not stopping?

@@primacoffeeequipment Yes it is a type B . Hopefully it's not the control board. Thanks

A vacuum works even better. Just suck out grinds rather than blow them around.
Using right and left is very confusing with he’s holding it from the back
