You can play Granblue Fantasy through this website: ( game.granbluefantasy.jp ) OR you can play it through the app. The app is not available in western stores. So if you are on Android, you will have to download the raw APK file. I am not sure how to get the app on iOS.
There are multiple tutorials showing you how to set up an account, or you can figure it out yourself if need be. It was pretty easy setting up my own

For iOS users, you just have to make a new Japanese apple account. For that, you can look up how to do so online, it's pretty simple, even though you have to use an address in japan to make one, there's one that a lot of people use it seems? Then, once you've made the account, you can download the Granblue Fantasy game onto your iphone no problem! But you'll have to log into the Japanese apple account any time you need to update the game.
The Granblue Fantasy Wikia also has a ton of useful tips, so that's where it's good to look for important things you might not know as a beginner! The learning curve can be a bit steep, but it's pretty rewarding once you get the hang of it.

Despite what everyone says play this game at your own peace, it does require a lot of work but if you are not enjoying it, there isn’t any point in playing anyways. Also shoutout to Lunarre for giving her one of her accounts, it’s funny how after she dragged IDC into hell with her she already has a new victim lol
The only thing I knew about Granblue before this was I really liked main boi’s whole armor chestpiece/hoodie combo thing goin on. Bless ya for hookin me up with this actual Knowledge 🙏👌👌
Granblue Fantasy is a really fun game and a good story. Though the game demands some grinding, it's not really a game that demands you get strong right away. This is a game where you can take as much time as you want. I've played for over a year now and I'm still a slack at most parts. Then there's the other kind of players, like my friend. Hops onto the game in the anniversary special and is now stronger than me in all aspects.
TL;DR this game is a game you can play in any pace you prefer. Enjoy the game for all it's worth and don't think too much into the grind hell or gacha hell the commenters focus on.

I'm more of a single player guy so I read through the story in Granblue. I think RPG has alot of focus in story rather it's bad or good, and I actually thought the story was good too so I'm surprised to see so many skipping the story despite that. Lol XD

That whole episode of the adventure is really good on the anime, next chapters are ok, but this one is definitely better to start watching the anime xD

This is a very similar story to how I started playing except it was Narmaya instead of Zeta.
Since then I have been grinding like crazy and also started a home workout session because all the hot guys are making me jealous.
No one can make me interested in a game more like BlunZ. Too bad my game folder is full

A lil advice on getting SSR, save ur jewel till Gala / Flash, u can get higher chance there and its not a lie
Also, Persona 5 Collabs next month, hope u still playing till then since all collab give free SSR XD

this is exactely how I became a fan of the Fate series
It's suspected we should be getting free rolls during the Persona 5 collaboration or during the summer gacha either way I suggest looking forward to magnafest where some quests are half off AP-wise so you can use the free quests to help level your units.
Also the side stories have event characters that can help pad out your team in the beginning (even Lyria is a character you can obtain) so maybe try focusing on that! Either way good luck!

Ah, Zeta. My first SSR. She pretty much carried my shitty party through the early game too. I got that Dark version of her as well, just need the Summer version now to be complete.
Nowadays I rate Cagliostro and Zooey as well as a few others above her, but she's still dear in my heart. Especially love her dynamics with Vaseraga - it's always a delight when they're on the same party.

It's grindblue for a reason and it sucks.
At the moment the thing that can make me stronger is from gacha and 5 remaining *5 juutenshu and gated behind bars that i already exhausted.
Magna2? done
mlb aes grid? done
flb all magna? done
2 finished primal grid? done
2 flb arcarum summons? done
breaking ultima weapon every once a while because gw? done
Only uflb some magna weapon but it's just too much investment for so little return
That's leaving me with grand weapons, core characters, broken summons... you name it. It's all from gacha.

Whatever you do, don’t pick Light or Dark. There’s hell and there’s super hell. You would have to do something astoundingly heinous to get send down to super hell. The plus side is, you did something astoundingly heinous that you can inflict upon your enemy but it just takes a disgustingly long time to get there. Believe me, I speak from experience on both elements.
Firrigagamer i meab light is one thing.. but why not dark?? thats the element where u dont have to worry bout weaknes and stuff.. plus the new arcaum and increase drop rate alrd help that much
Helistomafis Dr Truth be told, both elements, while being rare as big foot in their drop rates (especially if you can’t solo Celeste and Lumi) have amazing returns per level once you uncap them but Light can easily maximize their output per turn. Dark on the other hand lack survivability and are usually one hit wonders during raid. Except for my team. In order, MC is tanky thanks to HP EMP. Vira also tanks thanks to her first skill as well as having self heal with third skill and her Mastery Passive. Seox is a dodger and has counter on his 2nd skill. Narmaya also dodges but has big Hostility Down thanks to Mastery while also having Mirror Image on CA but even if she does get hit, she has a reflect passive. So my team can tank and dodge while also delivering a fancy buffet of damage. Dark is my main if you hadn’t picked up yet but my Light grid is still under development but thanks to my team consisting of Jeanne, Seruel and Lucio, the damage output is unprecedented for my current grid status because of the fact that Lucio’s 1st skill that gives 25% ATK & DEF up to all allies which is a dual skill so it stacks with Jeanne’s second skill which gives ATK up to all allies as well being a Single Skill, not forgetting Seruel’s CA which gives Crit boost. So despite the abysmal drop rates, it’s all about keeping your head on straight, persevering, selling your soul to the devil, persevering even more because now you have no soul to lose and do your research and maths. Do many much maths.
The game gave me all light characters on my rolls so I'm stuck with light
