Wow! I love how naturally and seamlessly you went from very subtle tones, almost whispering in the beginning, to stunning powerful belting in the end! Amazing! 😍 You pin-pointed the emotions of this song perfectly. I almost cried while listening 🥺
There were certainly some pitchy moments but I don't agree with "not so good". Most of the notes were locked right in on the pitch. The ones that were off- they were just for little moments, and then he found the right pitch again straight away. All the big important notes were spot on and the run he did was super clean. If I were to share any critiques, I actually think it was the language - there were moments where the non-native tongue was too obvious, like little bits of rhythm and enunciation that were non-musical and that a native English speaker would never do. It's super unfair to non-native English speakers that they're disadvantaged by being born in a different culture to the music they like to sing, but there are habits that non-native speakers have that break the musical moment for native speakers, and I think the moments in this performance that were "off" were more due to this than to pitch. Nice work!
