@@co8539 he had no experience riding a bike in the desert or sand. All it would’ve taken is for him to hit one rock badly and mess his bike up and then he would’ve been stranded in the desert in a dust storm. He got incredibly lucky to be honest.
Oh absolutely. I've seen some bikers react to his video and basically start off by saying he should never have gone alone in the first place.

Btw the whole “do not add water” thing is there because coolant is also sold concentrated where you have to add your own water to dilute it. It is perfectly fine to have water in the system although it’s not the best long term cause it can rust metal over time. But it is perfectly fine in a pinch.
Coolent is put there so the water doesnt freeze ... so its just water that cools ur car not the coolent .. but just put 50 50 loke the manuel says ...

It's more cost efficient (sometimes) to mix it yourself cause they give you a gallon of the stuff, and you mix it 1/1, so you get 2 gallons for what would have been the price of one.

Using water as coolant is pretty normal in places that don't have freezing temperatures often. Just use concentrated coolant instead of 50/50 when adding more.

I'm pretty sure he went to the University of Hawaii and has a BA in some engineering, definitely not all self-taught but he's lowkey a genius. Pretty sure he even did contract work for the government out of college for the NSA or something.
@@evang511 He dropped out of college after 1 year and the college was in Arizona. He started working for the government school system in Hawaii right out of high school he talked about it before, the other government contract work they wanted him to go college for and he dropped out and didn’t want to do it, he says he learns most of what he does by watching videos, havard puts all their computer science stuff for free online and he uses that and he also said he use to just walk into college computer science lectures with a backpack on and act like a student and nobody questioned. But he’s said multiple times he never finished college and never got a degree outside of a highschool one.

The "do not add water" is on the bottle because the coolant is pre-mixed.
If you get concentrated coolant you would have to mix it with water. it's not bad for the car unless it's pure water for a long time (coolant contains corrosion protection)

For those about the truck the coolant that says do not add water are already 50/50 mix which is what majority of your cars require. The ones that say concentrate you make 2x the coolant just add water equal to the concentrate put in. Just a heads up lol

Ok so I’m a mechanic. Adding the water to the already mixed coolant won’t hurt when it’s hot out. 50/50 is half coolant half water anyways. 50/50 is a standard because it’s a mix that work at pretty low temps. You can find a chart online with the ratio of coolant to water minimum for certain temps. The antifreeze is there to mainly keep the water from freezing.

Call me fucking iron man because I replaced my radiator and ac condenser by myself without knowing shit about cars. There wasn’t even any RUclips videos or anything showing how to take the radiator I had out. All of them looked soo easy too! Had to take my entire front end off and everything!

Water can be put in as coolant, infact in drag cars you are required not to run coolant and have to run water as its easier to clean up after break downs!

coolant comes in full strength, and 50/50 premixed with water you actually put some water in aswell lol

Bruh, coolant needs to be mixed 50/50 with water unless you buy pre-diluted in which case it's already mixed.

@@Laughup89 when I was younger we used to ride the sand pits on a weekend basis, I used to lay over CONSTANTLY. When in doubt, throttle er out!
Needed more speed to graze the sand rather than going slow and letting the weight dig in while he rides. Needs a little more balance but yeah.

the faster you ride on soft sand the easier it is to control the bike:)
Cool video and I love Michael and his content, but what he did is super dangerous and shouldn’t be replicated. Many people, more than you think, die alone in the desert, or the forest for that matter, due to unfortunate circumstances 😅
