Loyal to my job, laid me off after 7 yrs.
Loyal to a man, broke my heart after 8 yrs.
Loyal to my sister, who betrayed me.
Loyal to my best friend, turned her back after 20 yrs.
Those who I thought would always be there for me, only used me to their advantage.

Sorry to hear this happened to you, you know people always talk about the "nice guy" and what they don't realize is that there is a such thing as a "nice girl" who falls victim just as much as a man does for being nice and loyal. Wish you the best moving forward.

I wouldn't say... I regret it. Some of my happiest, most memorable times were with those people that betrayed me. I'm not bitter just disappointed the way it ended.

The timing! I literally just blocked someone I thought cared for me this morning. 3+ years down the drain thinking I meant something to them. And i got told that it wasnt them that they are a good hearted person. Really? With the mental abuse I endured from them and others coming forward about it too? Ok. Good heart. Everything said is 1000% correct on my situation. I had to take my power back. And now it is time to sleep and rise to a new day! I wish luck to everyone!

It was like whatever you're smoking, give me some because woooo you're delusional as heck to think I'm going to still be around you after publicly humiliating me and all they said I've no one to blame but myself. Yeah that ate me they played the victim and will smear my name to anyone who will listen. I pity any and all who enters their life and I will just go on knowing Karma will finish him off.
I feel that man. I thought I had something special with this friend I saw him as a brother. About 3 years too and I was blind to how he used me. But my struggle lies in taking action. I can’t bring myself to block him and get rid of the negativity bc I’m afraid of the repercussions and the mutual friends and how they will react. God bless you and I wish you strength

And yes my hardest lesson was what you wrote. I'm starting to feel better knowing I was there from the bottom of my heart while he just took it all for granted. Last I heard he went into hiding. Such a coincidence the day I blocked him!

Needed this! 🙏 This was definitely me in the past, gotta stop breaking our own hearts. I struggle with the loyalty thing too sometimes. I'm working on it though. Can't be afraid to step on people's toes. Internalized/eventually explosive anger, depression/anxiety , and low self esteem ain't worth it. I will never betray myself again. Guard your hearts!

Thank you!!! I needed this!!! I am to loyal to people and I recently dropped a friend of 50 years because she did not realize that just because I moved to another state. I do not have to be her tour guide or free hotel and she has never invite or allow me to visit her home. She had her husband bad mouth me about it. This made me angry, because this is my house not her house. I decide who I entertain in my house and I will not let anyone make me feel bad for not having them in my house.

I was crying just this morning over the guilt I feel in preparing myself to leave my 10-year abusive marriage, as though I am obligated to stay and care for him, despite how very little he cares for me, and how low he consistently makes me feel. I have saved this in my favorites so I can remind myself of the truth of the situation, as I know I will need that reminder. I left four years ago, but that only lasted 10 weeks until I came back, out of the guilt I felt for not honoring my marriage, regardless of his mistreatment toward me. I pray for the wisdom in timing, and the strength to stay the course, and to seek the smiles over the stress. Let's Get It ❤💪

BEFORE SUBSCRIBING TO REHAB TIME...I think almost 8 years now...This was me until I hit 50....I packed my bags and headed home...where I wanted to be....and felt most FREE and HEALTHY. Last November I turned 60...and I can honestly say...it tool a lot of adjustment and replapsea...when it came to being more loyal to people than to myself...it felt different for a minute and kinda selfish. But I realized....it was a matter of life and death...PROTECT YOU PEACE ....BE LOYAL TO YOU....FIRST AND FOREMOST..
