What a shame! That beautiful Corvette should be on the road! My neighbor had a 66, same exact colors. It was a big block car but he always ran a small block in it. Even had a blower on it for a while! He gave me a ride in it when I was 10 years old. It was the highlight of my summer! That was 47 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday.
Why in the name of "anything" holy would anyone let that beautiful piece of American History sit in a garage for that long & let it be covered in a pool of dust & rust?! Should be Criminal!!! Glad you pulled it out.
Ya..but have to admit very cool story and .if it didn't sit that long and been to car shows etc lol we wouldn't find it nearly as cool as this great story ok it would be just another car out there even tho it very very special
Cool car, is that Seth with the junkyard charger 500 , hope to see more of that car. Haven't seen it since it was sitting on cement blocks and I was 16..
I had three blower motors fail and replaced under warranty from volkswagen within 2 years. The third one failed after warranty expired. I bought a cheap copy unit (new) off fleabay and it still works 3 yrs later. (Reference your comment on water pump) Mr T from Scotland
Because some people literally don't realize or care about what they actually have and most people back in the day didn't know how much of a sought out collectors item these cars were gonna become and alot of people had cars like this back when they were common and plentiful
I was wondering if that was my uncles for a second. He has a 67 stingray in his garage thats probably in way worse shape than that. The mice have completely destroyed the interior. I used to love that car when I was a kid.
That looked like a air pollution inspection tag. If it's from Missouri that's probably St Louis area. I'm not that well acquainted with those stickers. Maybe Kansas City is big enough to require air pollution. Hospital Springfield Missouri. I'm sure there's a number on there that you can call the DMV of that state like you came with most states and you could track down information you're looking for. Yeah that convertible to Mopar man be enticing enough to distract you from that Corvette. But thanks for staying focus and showing us the car 🚨. Interesting that such far resetting tucked wave that many years.

Pretty cool, you still have your dad's tools. I still have my brother-in-law's complete Mechanics Tool set from the 70s!
That's cool
A dream I hope will come true🪐💔
Tip for your wrenches. If you get a garden hose saver spring, you can set it in the drawer to hold all your wrenches in a row by size.

Wish I had the money to buy it.
I don't understand why people park cars in garages for decades, and leave the windows open? 🤷♂️

So, rescuing a car is the same as buying one but with extra drama.

Mice are the worst. I have traps all over my garage. How much for the 67? This dude is never going to restore it.
