So...I know I am way late in watching this video. I loved it! but... I don't agree with the Baker in him saying, there is no good bread there. My parents are from the south of Peru and as a kid and young adult I would vacation tin Peru and the bread was awesome! The simplicity of cafe con leche and artisanal bread with butter in my opinion, is the best comfort food!

We definitely have Berlin stories in the works, but we're finalizing all the rest of our Lima videos now, and then have a short series to edit from Paris and THEN we will get to explore this beautiful city!!!

Another terrific story. I especially liked the insights on "simplicity" in an ever more complex world. Went shopping for jeans this weekend, and the Christmas decorations were already up and Christmas carols blaring from street-based speakers. How about a simple slice of healthy bread and a comforting cup of fresh coffee? Bring us more of these stories, Dana & Lou. This is SUCH a gift you bring to all of us!

Obviously this dude doesn't know what he is talking about. There are many cities/towns in Peru with bakeries doing bread many times better. To make it all worse, his "bakery" name is obtuse and demeaning. He certainly seems an ignorant individual. Wasted precious 4 minutes watching this crap and yeah certainly not interested in visiting this spot in Lima. Thanks but no thanks.
I visited Lima this week with my husband and we went in the afternoon to eat to this lovely place !!! Thanks a lot for your recommendation. I drank orange juice with a cookie. And I also try vegan chocolate!!! ;)
Yess you were able to make it to another place we filmed at :) I'm so happy you made it to Pan de la Chola! They had such a friendly vibe and I really loved their bread. I remember getting their avocado toast and being in heaven :)
