in Argentina take us the trams in 1960 and administrators no want more trams here, same the train thing... like its been forbidden in some countrys... some groups of people try to make difusion on this lines of transport for all argentinians realize that the trams and trains are more eficient then trucks/bus line of transport. Very nice video, saluts from Olavarria, Buenos Aires province.
Many thanks! We also have a similar tendency. Many cities, instead of repearing the tracks, simply closed the trams. It seems to me that this is due to a lack of specialists in the local avtoreties and government. Because it costs almost nothing to maintain a bus for the city. This can be done by private entrepreneurs. Many specialists are needed for rail transport. Starting with rail workes and energy workers, ending with dispatchers and accountants.
Also in video you can see yellow microbuses they are private and concurrents for trams. We called it marshrutka. ruclips.net/video/CDfqDs6TKdI/видео.htmlsi=7Nd01leITQjkGEJs
