The fastest way to clean a Fountain pen? Featuring the Montblanc Boheme and Pilot Vanishing point!

- Hey everyone! We noticed that it was really tough to clean fountain pens and a lot of the solutions out there were less ergonomic and effective than we hoped. We decided to design a pen clearning system, not just for our own pens and the Monoc Nib, but also many different pen brands out there today! We reverse engineered a ton of different pen brands and their nibs and came up a range of pen cleaning tools that allow you to flush your fountain pen nib clean by swapping out the cartridge or converter of the pen with this handy little syringe adapter. We made these for Jowo nibs, Bock Nibs, Lamy pens, Pilot pens (including the vanishing point!), Sailor pens and Platinum pens! This was a ton of work and we are super happy to have all these sizes on the site. I wanted to make something for everyone who loves using their fountain pens and allows them to take care of them for years to come without breaking the bank!

Like all of our projects we designed, engineered and machined these in house in our Philadelphia studio!
Thanks for your support!

There is an old saying; "I can teach you, but I can't learn it for you." This is sort of like doing both. It simplifies the process, making it feel easier instead of overwhelming. Simple. Elegant. Schon Dsgn.
Okay, this is awesome. Will be getting this incredible cleaning tool.
Thank you for your tinkering. Japanese pen shows independently showcased similar products there, glad you are representing us, too. Look forward to buying a few from you through my FP budget next year.
An adapter for the Pilot Custom 74 would be AMAZING, haha! Or any Pilot that takes the CON-70 converter. Not sure if the Pilot one you already have would fit on a Custom 74. Thanks for filling this need with awesome products!
I think the pilot one does work as long as it’s a pilot converter :)
I tried and reviewed the Jowo and Pilot ones and they are great, glad to see that you have so many options now. Thanks!
Thank you so much for making these pen cleaning tools! You are the best!
You're a certified genius, Ian.
I have all the standard stuff for flushing pens, but I find that I don't use the MB Bohemes I have very much because they are so aggravating to clean! Thanks for creating this!
Merry Christmas, Ian, and to your team, too!
Very cool! I bodged together something similar for my std int pens, but it wasn't great 😄
Brilliant! Will the Pilot model fit a Custom 823?
Genius! Such an amazing system. I also love the glasses. Brand? Model?
thank you! the glasses are made by AARN Plastics aarneyewear.com/collections/nylaarn-sports-eyewear good friend of mine :)
I appreciate the lead and follow up, thank you!@@Schon_DSGN
thank you!!
I'm curious about if this could make cleaning a rollerball converter pen possible...
what size would I get for my Mont Blanc Boheme retractable nib pen
The bock one 👍
why not attach the adaptor to a larger syringe to increase the volume of water being flushed per stroke?
Doesn’t fit in the pen :) also more water isn’t necessarily better. It’s totally good with small volume
Even after all that there’s still ink in between the nib and feed 😅 but it’s you 90% there
This flushes water through the feed. Dried ink will be more stubborn. 👍
Use an ultrasonic cleaner to get the rest of the ink out. That's the only way besides disassembling the nib unit.
Still looking easy way to clean Parker 61
as useful as this is, it is limited by the fact that you have to clean your converters anyway (which needs a few runs to clean) so you might as well just flush it the normal way. But yes, this piston pump style is what makes the noodler's ahab converter the easiest and quickest way to clean and flush your nib/converter. I wish more converters were like that.
