I think Maroshi-san knew which attack was coming next. Speaking from personal experience with the similar setup, it seems that Risen Kusha only uses Lunge → Wind Nuke attack once in each normal state and angry state, the rest of the attack after two tornadoes is expected to be Lunge →Glide Turnaround attack or Lunge→Dragon Slam attack(low probability/rare).
