I have a stupid question. I work with the 775 for 2 years. And I didn't use the metronome just because it's disturbing me to change the settings every session. Isn't it possible tho save the settings for the next session? I didn't want that the clp after new start go back to the general settings..... thank you
Hi may i ask did you cover your piano and if you did where did you get it, i cant find one with the hole to fit the book stand :(. If you dont have one may I ask are there any stains or anything? especially from the usnlight
So, is the new GrandTouch-S an improvement over the GrandTouch, or a cheaper version? Is it a NWX with longer keys? There will be a CLP-725 maybe with NWX?
So the next model up , the 785, adds ‘counterweights’ - does that mean this one without counterweights is heavy and springy AF like the P515 - but with longer keys for slightly lighter weight near the fallboard?
Bit harsh. It does a good job of hiding the buttons. But yes - it’s basically just the user interface of the previous version - with the same screen and menu structure - but repackaged with illuminated touch buttons similar to the recent Casio offering. Still a worthwhile improvement IMHO. No-one wants visible buttons on their piano. Also be careful what you wish for: the Kawai touchscreen is laggy and slow AF (takes 30s to boot up FFS) Would prefer a simple button interface like this one TBH.
the benefit is that it gives a nice streamlined look to the piano when not in use... And lets be real... Anyone who can afford this piano definitely has a high end smart phone or tablet on which you can use Yamaha’s smart pianist app. Trust me my friend.. that would be a far better experience than kawai’s laggy touchscreens 😀
wow.......the look, the precision, and the accuracy of sound............amazing
just bought one for my son :)
The fortepiano sampling is extraordinary! I've played several authentic period instruments of Mozart's time and it is astoundingly realistic.
Mais que tudo.... simplesmente uma jóia!!! Belíssimo, fino acabamento, estilo e classe!! Parabéns!!!
I just bought one will get it next week. Im very happy
Thanks, any updates?

NWX is not that good, I own the P515 with NWX action, is quite stiff

2020 and you still do not have a colored User Interface... the touch screen is a joke, literally no benefit

Having just tested the piano in a store, the touch interface is really nice and simple. I think it does a fine job.
no need ... it can connect to an ipad or android device you can control all piano functions through it and even more.
Cyb3rAssassine is such a snob wannabe. 🤣
