I was bored a while back and put the movie on late night to fall asleep, only to realize the movie was actually really entertaining and freaky as fuck. A fun watch, highly recommend it.
I'm 32 and when I was around from 10-16 my grandpa watched this B&W movies and I never understood why 😂 But now I do and appreciate the art in it and the acting and love to watch old movie's.. It was his prime time and his generation watches this
I like this one; have it on a great compilation DVD set called Drive-In Cult Classics Vol 2. That's one of the things I find so appealing about B-movies of that era - you can feel the drive-in ambience of a simpler time when movies could be made on a shoestring and still be entertaining.
Thanks for this nice sharp print -- the black and white looks really rich. Impressed with the production values, considering it's a low-budget film. If you're a creative and resourceful production or set designer, you can really make a film look more expensive than it actually costs. Nice work all around.

"Wipe Out!" was probably the biggest California surf music hit with that distinct Dick Dale sound there. Of course the Beach Boys were big. Back then "I wish they all could be California girls", not now from what I've seen of Mark Dice interviewing them by the beach. Has anyone noticed the passing resemblance between Ariadne Weller ('Donna') and the late actress Sue Randall? Randall died of lung cancer from cigarette smoking, and Welter died of cirrhosis of the liver from too much boozing. Both were attractive, but the body can handle just so much poison.

Christian met Errol Flynn shortly after leaving High School and became his lover and he encouraged her to pursue an acting career. She had some quirky career highlights (or lowlights!) being in the last Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movie in 1948, being the first "Bond Girl" in a 1954 TV adaption of Casino Royale (playing opposite Barry Nelson as Bond) and turning down a chance to star in the 1953 blockbuster From Here to Eternity which won eight Oscars - her intended role went to Deborah Kerr.
The makers of this film may have been inspired by Val Lewton's "The Seventh Victim". Horror films dealing with the occult set in modern times were in the vogue all throughout the sixties; " Rosemary's Baby " was, of course, the finest.
