Dogs grow fast. I'm pretty sure it only take 8 weeks after being impregnated for the dog to give birth if I remember correctly. And they take about a year or maybe less to pretty much fully grow. Though I imagine this varies with different breeds. This is all from memory of my dogs growing so forgive me if I get some things wrong.
