    Thank you so muchHHH !!! Them say I'm from Cameroon I can't make ogbono soup. After watching this video over and over. I nailed the soup down. TheM licked their fingers very very well.

    Loveeee Nigerian food. After eating that good hardy food and lots of water everything else food wise is just play. Very hardy and filling I feel it in my soul. My ancestors must be like yes of course you do its in your roots.

    Oh my Nigeriancuisine King :) you are one of the best cooks around. I love to watch you cook. When i think of African food i feel like i'm eating real food. Also i make a lot of African dishes, I was taught by an Ebo man long time ago,and i'm still making it. I love it so so much. :)

    Ogbono soup cooked with meat, smoked fish, king prawns or, with game meat crafish and stock fish then served with GARRI, is heaven! I love all these Nigerian foods that are now on display. They've got their acts together at last!

    I'm also Jamaican. Mastered the Egousi stew and hope to use this recipe as a great guide might make it or pepper soup tomorrow. Thanks bro. And yes I agree did you forget the grounded pepper? Also do you serve it with Gari or Pounded yam or either is fine?

      +Nicenicegirl Hi! You can put ground pepper into the mix if you like. For me, it is best served with pounded yam, but gari or ground rice or amala are all perfectly acceptable. The ultimate, for me is ogbono soup with okro served with pounded yam. Absolutely heavenly!

    Thanks for the video clip...... Been cooking it but its always watery and not sticky.... but now i guess its bcos of the too much of heat. Thanks alot...... Wonoogba ni church lojo saturday .... The council of elders go bite their fingers.

    hi i really want to make this. but i was just wondering in your previous videos you have cooked the shaki for 40 minutes do you cook the shaki before hand on this one to ? thankyou great video

    I tried the same way u showed it but I actually burnt it. Because u didn't say turn it on low heat. U said it after and before I realised it my ogbono turned black. Well I guess I'll have to cook it all over again.

    Just tip my friend, a whisk would help a lot with the stirring, while a spoon is probably more authentic I just assume it would be easier, as the whole process seems very similar to making roux.

      the pepper may have already been mixed with the ogbono when it was milled. That's what we do in my house.

    The way you are cooking it shows it is not your native soup so this is not how to cook ogbono in our own place. You do it as if it is very difficult to cook. It is very very easy to cook. Thank you sir.

    Nice effort, but I don't like to eat ogbono soup with squids, mussels, things like tat, I prefer only stockfish, goat meat, dry or smoked fish, crayfish . with the other ingredients

    Please, putting all ingredients together doesn’t really make you a better cook to certain food....
    Looking at this supposedly ogbono.... it’s look like oath meal or crunched cereal.
    Ogbono is slippery thick and not oath meal thickness.
