You also have to understand Edin’s attitude was really dismissive. I’m sure Julian’s family was reacting to that. Even the apologies during the show seemed half hearted. There was no remorse, (even if the plan was to be apologetic after the taping)…Rory saying there are no legal ramifications is short sighted, if you keep that episode up it can open you up to issues. The fact that the altercation happened outside of company grounds is meaningless, anyone that has worked corporate and has had to take the training by HR knows that an issue with a coworker outside of company time, away from company grounds can still impact your employment status, you can get fired for attacking a coworker, on your personal time!
I think Edin didn't read the comments room and played into them joking about it... The only way something that happens outside work can affect work is if someone brings it to work...
Rory wasn't wrong. He didnt know the extent of how the punch happened. And even after it was recorded im sure they all asked Jullian and he said yeah post it then later reneged
I think not only was punching Julien out of pocket, his attitude on the pod was unacceptable as he was not only unapologetic but he also basically pulled his boss’ card at the same time. And D was obviously uncomfortable with how it was being handled, that’s her workplace and she should feel comfortable too. Eddin was way too smug, and he’s a twot for hitting somebody that won’t hit back
The part of the pod that made me feel weird was that Eddin didnt really feel bad that he didnt take the high road. Putting your hands on someone for saying something to you or how they act is a lapse in judgment the gravity of which he downplayed. If that wasnt his friend he could have went to jail or worse. Maybe Eddin was smiling hoping he didnt get fired on camera.

a lot of things really put eddin in a bad light. 1. He laughed it off in a sort of condescending way. 2. He blamed it on the juice, not even willing to take accountability. 3. He stated he wasn’t remorseful and then laughed. 4. Almost seemed proud of himself as they were recounting the altercation. 5. Said a half assed apology. essentially a “my b” 6. They could have addressed the situation on air and if Eddin actually seemed remorseful and apologized sincerely this wouldn’t even be a big deal. I don’t know these people so I can’t say if eddin is actually a bad person or if he was playing it up for content. it just didn’t land the way they thought it did. Also very weird how he claimed to not know what happened but was able to recount the night prior to the beatdown he gave julian and right after as well.

People in his industry have had episodes with people pulling guns out on air (Akademiks), people saying false claims and being sued (Tasha K and Tsu Surf), and even running trafficking rings (Diddy and Revolt and he only got voted out because it got so big). I mean If Joe can sexually assault someone on camera, get a lawsuit file, get aired out, and then come back less than a year later and be given the title of “best podder” by several big publications, Eddin punching his coworker is small potatoes. If Rory and Mal have any type of backbone they will fire Eddin. No questions asked
You think he'll get the tattoo removed?😂😂😂
Fam I forgot about the tattoo. He got that tattoo on his knee and that’s definitely going to make him feel like wtf did I do this for.
Eddin should be fired. He half assed apologized && pretended he didn’t remember attacking Julian .
He should be fired.. what makes it worse is that he basically said he didn't feel regret about hitting him.. said it over and over. Almost bragging..
Friends fall out?? No Way! Let's make money off of it!
Fam they even took down the clip of them addressing it on the pod lol.
Damn and they just ended that deal. This count have happened at a worst time. They definitely going to court. Julian bout to get a nice bag.
I stand with Eddin!
Lets see if eddin really gone
You can say whatever you want but soon as spit or hands start flying its a different situation. I was throwing Eddin bail for being drunk but saying fuck him basically and showing no remorse once sober is sick. He should get some consequences, maybe no pay suspension but won’t be mad if they chose to fire him.
I miss like two pods and everything goes to shit. If they do get rid of eddin, I think Rory and Mal would benefit greatly from adding a third main co host. Like a sophisticated flip or just somebody that can make a funny.
Hypothesis : could it be possible eddin did this to get fired & Move on ?
Eddin has skills that people need , but this assault could make people apprehensive unless he gets some kind of anger mgmt therapy .
I think if he does that he may stay on the R&M
In real world, yeah. But, as we’ve seen in the industry he’s worked in, his behavior is par for the course. Hip Hop podcasting is full of debauchery.
Julian is the most punchable out of the pod and Rory should know about wanting to fight people u work with who u think are ur friends
I feel like Eddin shouldn’t have to be fired because they chose to bring it to the mics. Julian said multiple times he was okay with it.
Finally some action on that pod
They need a therapist and to go on a diet, they all messed up.....
lol why a diet?
@@TheStop look at them, they're all on their way to look like DJ Akademiks.
That was a good pod😂
They all a mess 😂
He will not be fired he’s a part of the show and shoots and edits the video and audio he’s not going to get fired
That doesn't make you specialist. There are plenty of tech-savvy folks around.
Everytime somebody get punched they call the person doing the punching soft and not the punchee soft for not standing up for him self 😂😂😂
20 minutes of hits is wicked😂
Fight back
you clowning julian? lol
They just need to squabble it out and get back to work
Edden said he didn't regret it on camera. He should be fired
we did it first 🤣
THIS is real COE.
I love the podcast but yes he should be fired.
seems like this where its headed
He had to go! But Rory handled this bad.
Ngl if me and my coworker get into something OUTSIDE of the job and on our on time… I would be tight if I got fired because of it. 💯💯
Was todays drop recorded before the incident? Because Eddie was there talking about 2024 goals with the team.
Firing him should be mandatory. Can't be assaulting people
