Never heard of PC Richards but that practice of buying separate product to sell on Black Friday seems to be an exception. Most places just slash prices on what they have in stock.
It's still just marketing though, because every product we buy is overpriced anyway. So on Black Friday they're just a little less overpriced lol.
I used to work for a TV company and we for sure had different SKU # that we sold to frys target and Walmart during the holidays that had different graphics processors and 1 or 2 less connection ports

Joe wants him to be thier primary bread and butter is all i got from this convo. He doesnt want them engaged in any major corporate advertising even on a minor level unless he signs off on it. He wants employee control. Its the same on a base level when companies just dont allow moonlighting in any form whatsoever. Its not because they're scared its gonna affect your job productivity like they allude to. Its because if you have any major income coming thats not directly from them it leaves the door open for you to not be as loyal to them. Joe aint slick. Even the way he tries to devalue Flip and Melissa on the low stinks of employer control tactics. Not saying that Flip and Melissa had as much caché as they did before joining the pod but lets not act like Joe is responsible for 90% of their growth either. Hes not even responsible for 40% of their growth and at this point in their individual careers they both have the right to capitalize off their audiences snd their liknesses in any way Mel and Flip see fit regardless of their association with Joe or this pod.
Now Ice and Ish on the other hand dont have the grounds to disregard Joe's expertise as nearly all their caché comes from their association with the pod.
He cant expect Mel and Flip to act in the same manner as Ice and Ish. You cant go get Mel and Flip because of who they are and then try to convince them that who they are is who you made em. The math ain't mathin
I got the opposite of that, I got they weren't using the pull from being on the JPB to full impact, instead of simply doing post on IG they needed to get more out of it and like flip instead of just shouting the hair people out he should get it for free ( Flip states he has something coming up with them) thats what I took out of the initial debate.

B) we don't know what current financial situation Mel or Flip is in that would cause them to have to jump at a current deal for less money
C) as their employer if he wants his employees to be able to do the suggested wait time it would take to get them better deals,then pay enough to be able to make that financial decision or STFU.
The deals they are allowed to refuse and or make are directly tied to what Joe is currently paying them and what they currently earn. If he's not gonna directly improve upon that then he needs to reserve his judgement for a later date.

This is ironic because I've just recently went to New York for the first time just before Thanksgiving but I've never even knew of Ice or Ish before they joined the Joe Budden Podcast, however I fell in love with the show more since they joined and actually became an avid viewer and aslo was a
" Flip the Script" fan because he and his other co host "G Money" interviewed people I wanted to hear from, and once Flip joined the Joe Budden podcast I instantly became even more of a fan of the show.....Btw I'm born and raised in Washington DC
