What a coincidence. I raced on a five-man Marathon relay team this morning 🙂. It was my first marathon relay, it was pretty fun. I had the second leg, 5.2 miles. I started out pretty strong, but after I got about two halfway my gel or my motivation wore off and I dropped pace by about 2 minutes a mile 😀. We ended up as a team 4:02. And our team was just a bunch of random people, not This Team of Chads you put together.
Was it fun? That’s what matters. Tree of our guys (Mitch and the two student runners) were part of a 5-man marathon relay back in November. I think the reason they were so willing to do this relay was because of all the fun they had at that relay.

@@thecaptainchas2820 it was fun enough. Not sure if I'll do a five-person relay again, or the relay at this race again. We will see, just depends.
