Hopefully we can do it justice. If not, Puddin' is right down the road. He's never busy and has lots of free time so it shouldn't be any bother for him lol.
Awesome to see her appreciation and excitement!! Not many kids now a days would be thrilled to be given a project like that. Look forward to seeing progress on the ol green booger! Keep on truckin' ✌🏼
Quite agree. Kids today need to get their thumb out of their bum and their mind out of netrual and just, get in there and LEARN how an engine runs, how to do bodywork and painting,LEARN how to tune up an engine with plugs points and a condenser and parts to keep things running approprately, the LEARN how to change brakes and how to change a tire, they NEED to LEARN how to do all these mechanical repairs issues and things not only to benefit themselves, but to LEARN safty as safty has no quitting time. A parent who teaches their youngins these things is a good loving slap on the behind to get prepared to send them out into the world that is so mean and cruel with forsighted knowledge and information to NOT be taken advantage of by anybody out there, PERIOD! Yinz get my drift folks!
Thanks so much for watching. I hope you stay tuned for the follow ups and hopefully she will learn some things along the way. I had to find a way to keep a teenager on involved with her dad for a little while longer.
Sweetness! In the 80's I was in a punk rock band, the singer had a 620 truck and I had a 510 wagon. We were not the most popular, but our rides were awesome! Take care of that little 620 and a belated Happy Birthday!
LOL the scuffed trumpet just sets the tone to get a less than perfect truck. It'll be good to do all the work and end up with something that's unique and personalized in the end. A lot of good life lessons in that
Thanks man. It feels good knowing I did something right. Trying to teach these kids to work for what you want and not go into lifelong debt for schools and car payments!
@@SideGigSquid thats the best way....i am retired two years and not a debt to anyone and never made more than 20 grand a year(canadian) but i enjoyed now just need covid to go so we can travel the country again
Yeah he was great with letting us come see it and holding it for me for a few weeks until we could get the arrangements for moving it. Great guy with a great channel. I hope to be half as good as his.
I subbed here after seeing your comments on Puddin' video. Great to see a young person with such impeccable taste. Great video - keep 'em coming! Best wishes from England 🏴 🇺🇲
I took mine out west on vacation. I was bucking some 50 mph headwinds. Couldn’t maintain speed in fourth gear so I spent most of the day in third. It was a decent little truck, but we outgrew it.
Yeah not the most efficient vehicle for cross country driving. I drove mine from California to Colorado when I was 17. But then again, I enjoyed every minute of it.
Awesome video! That lil truck is going to be such a terrific investment, in both your daughter's happiness and saving some old iron from destruction. Subbed so I can follow along! Congrats!
Haha yeah I did click bait a little bit with the thumbnail. Loves it and she is learning a lot. Something for us to do together in the garage and spend some time before she gets too old, in her own and forgets about me lol.
Great video, so awesome to see it presented to her in my home town even, what were the chances of that! Good luck with the build!
I was bummed you didnt fix it up, but I'm glad to be able to see it restored here!
I clicked on this video thinking “that’s puffins fab shops truck!!!”
I wonder if this girl's Datsun was bought unseen ? LOL
Hopefully we can do it justice. If not, Puddin' is right down the road. He's never busy and has lots of free time so it shouldn't be any bother for him lol.
Well it is. It was. and anyhow, I appreciate the view. More videos coming!
Saw this on Pudins channel. Glad it went to a good home.
We’re working on it and now he just pulled his old one out of the woods as well!
Awesome to see her appreciation and excitement!! Not many kids now a days would be thrilled to be given a project like that. Look forward to seeing progress on the ol green booger! Keep on truckin' ✌🏼
Thanks for the watch. More videos coming.

Looking forward to seeing this Datsun return to glory.
Thanks for watching! Hopefully we can do it some justice!
What a great gift for your daughter. Will be fun to watch you guys do the restoration together
Thanks so much for watching. I hope you stay tuned for the follow ups and hopefully she will learn some things along the way. I had to find a way to keep a teenager on involved with her dad for a little while longer.
Oh my dog. That's the truck I learned to drive in when I was 15. I loved it. She is so lucky. Hope to find another one some day.
Same here. We saw one in town and I was telling her stories about mine. She wanted one from then on.

Damn it would be sweet to have those now! Thanks for the view!
15..and a gear-nut.. Hahaha
Glad to have found this channel.
Yeah it makes me happy when she gets excited while we are working in the garage. She’s learning g quite a bit.

Thanks for your views bro I appreciate it. Can’t wait to show everyone the progress.

I installed the same floorplans you ordered. They fit perfectly.
That’s good to know. It will be my first time welding some in! I’m sure it will be a great video of me learning how to use my new welder!
My first truck was a 72 620 I stuck a 400 sbc 350 trans and a narrowed 9in rear in it, looked stock but surprised a lot of people. I miss that truck!
Everyone I know that had one regrets getting rid of theirs. Myself included!
The trumpet made the moment! haha
Well it was a great addition to the moment. Took a bit with the editing but I thought it came out well. We have some great kids in the program.
@@SideGigSquid totally agree. Cant wait for an update.
I don't know how i got here. But it's awesome. Congratulations girl
Wow that’s good that you did get here. Appreciate the view!
Awesome seeing young kids interested in classic projects
Thanks foe the watch! I’m excited that she’s excited. Can’t wait to show you guys the progress!
@@SideGigSquid subscribe to see progress ..im working on a 73 620 I got my self
I'm really glad you kept in the part with the trumpet, amazing video all around
It was too good to not include it! Just had to spend some time with the editing but he did a great job!
Man this makes me miss my '74. It was the the same color. I pulled a 5 speed out of a 720, that was a great upgrade.
Thanks for the watch! I’m currently thinking the same thing, 5 speed upgrade!
I got a 521 and were putting a l18 stroker in it should be a little rocket
Proud of you Robert Charles. You're a great Dad. Miss you buddy!
Thanks Frenchy! Hopefully I’ll do it justice. My kid will have the same first car as me! A Datsun 620!
This an awesome commercial for Puddin's Park it and Mark It. I hope to see videos of the building process over the next year.
Thanks for the view! And yes, one of Puddin’s first sales I hope we can do it justice. We have videos coming, editing just takes time.
i was going to say, ain't that Puddin's old truck, and then I seen his comment. That one is minty!
Yeah he was great with letting us come see it and holding it for me for a few weeks until we could get the arrangements for moving it. Great guy with a great channel. I hope to be half as good as his.
@@SideGigSquid oh you will be, just be a cool dude like Puddin and all the others!

Wow thank for the comments and the positive encouraging words! Hope you enjoy the future videos!
So cool 😎 looking forward to seeing the progress. And happy birthday great gift.
Thanks for the view. Sorry editing takes time and between the military keeping me at work and a month long family vacation videos are behind.
Happy birthday! Gonna be a great project!
She is learning quite a bit and will know hard work pays off.

wow a car for a birthday, awesome😊
Yes a car is always a good gift, even if it’s a piece of junk! We will get it fixed and looking sharp for her though.
Awesome video! That lil truck is going to be such a terrific investment, in both your daughter's happiness and saving some old iron from destruction. Subbed so I can follow along! Congrats!
Thanks so much for the view! More videos coming shortly. Editing takes time but I’m trying!
My first vehicle was a 1975 Datsun Pickup 4 in the floor
My first one was a 77 longbed with a 4 speed. Wish I knew what I had. I tore that thing up at 16.
This is fuvking great! My first vehicle was a 95 Nissan Pathfinder and loved it. Subbing for the upcoming content that you and your kiddo make!
Thanks for the view! Lost more videos in the works. Editing takes way more time than I thought.
Nice car
Thanks for the view.
68k, that thing is mint!!
Hopefully it will be before her 16th!
Puddin's Truck!...
Yes sir! Great guy, funny as hell, and he has a great channel!
Good stuff
Thanks for the view! More videos coming! Learning to edit takes time. Good thing I have four teenage daughters who are tech savvy.
My father bought a orange 620 in 1975. It was a great little truck.
Seats were not very comfortable.. so. Work on that.
Yeah we are looking into other options most likely some nice buckets
Aviation Machinist's Mate?
Yes sir since 1999
Since it's green and a Datsun you can call it the snotsun lol
That’s me of the names Puddin’ was calling it. Not sure what she’s gonna name her yet.
So that is the one puddin had lol
Is there any "sea" in Oaklahoma? lol. I'm not a teenage girl, but I'd love that truck! Sub'd to see results.
Haha we have lakes in Oklahoma! The navy is needed everywhere! Thanks for the view! More videos coming, editing takes a lot more time than I thought.
Sweet kid most kids would be like wtf
Haha yeah I did click bait a little bit with the thumbnail. Loves it and she is learning a lot. Something for us to do together in the garage and spend some time before she gets too old, in her own and forgets about me lol.
Neat car! Let’s see this build! Subscribed! Check out the Datsun on my channel if you get a moment!
Yes I’ve been watching your channel great stuff man appreciate the subscription and the view!
Take you for your service and all the other military people
Thanks for the Support!
It's a good learning lesson
Yes I agree. It’s important for my kids to learn basic repair skills so they don’t get taken advantage of when they’re adults.
Nice job there chief Petty officer
Thanks so much for the view!
