- ANA (All Nippon Airways) is Japan’s second airline and has consistently performed well over the decades. With a fleet of mainly Boeing aircraft for international operations, the airline operates to many destinations in North America and Europe. On my way back to Asia, I had the rare luck of not only flying ANA at an affordable price, but also got to try a rather rare B777 economy configuration…
As you may already know from the high standards of Japanese airlines including my flights on JAL, I did have high expectations for this flight. How did it go? Watch this video to find out!

Nice review, i didnt see the slide with the pricing for wifi. Is there a timestamp?
I like the ANA airlines. It gives me a futuristic vibe to it.
Good timing as I'm taking this flight in a few weeks!
Hey! Hope you enjoy it, not sure which config you're going to get but the service is definitely top notch!
Am sure I will enjoy it, thanks@@dexplorer_vids
23:54 The music in this video, Another Sky by Taro Hakase played at our graduation ceremony last year. It was the theme song of ANA, and Air China started using this song as their boarding and disembarking music since 2016. I haven't flew ANA that much, but I flew Air China A350 from Chengdu to Beijing last June, the music played on the plane while we are boarding. When I heard it, it touched me so hard and I cried.
I actually prefer the design of those seats. If someone wants to recline, they can at the expense of their own personal space rather than at the expense of the person that's sitting behind them....
I never used to mind passengers who'd recline. But that changed after one particular Tokyo - London flight when the passenger in front of me was reclined for the majority of the flight, including during the meal service!
Ah yes of course I totally understand why these seats came about, but not so sure if the concept worked in economy due to lack of space!
Were they strict with the checked bag and carry on weight. How was the seat recline
Ah I didn’t check in a bag for this flight. Recline for this particular seat is good but it kills the legroom.
I paid 565 usd from Saigon to O'Hare looks like I'll be okay 👌👍😁
That’s a good deal! Hope you enjoy the flight!
Wish they still had that seat plan on London flights. They switched to 10 abreast seating on those flights😢
Ah yes it's getting tighter at the back of the plane :(
Did you find the cabin extremely hot and dry? I flew this route in business 2 weeks back and the cabin was very stuffy. I woke up sweating. I was disappointed there were no personal air vents. I returned on United and although the service/food wasn't as good as ANA it was much more comfortable due to the cabin temperature.
Ah no it worked well for me despite the lack of personal air vents
How tall are you?
Tall enough to be on board ;)
