Ben I always love watching your videos and explanation of ball motion. I’ve wrote to you in the past and I’m here again to ask how I’m doing rebuilding my arsenal. Summit, Exotic Gem, Duo, and this new Xponent. How do you feel about it and what I may want in adding two more balls so I’m covering all conditions. Please take into consideration that I am a lower rev and speed bowler. Thanks keep the videos coming
Honestly, that’s a great top 5. If you are looking to get 2 more, a DNA could fit in there, and maybe one of the new Hustles? Basically the very top and the very bottom of your arsenal, unless you want to try urethane.
Maybe a Virtual Energy Blackout and a Hustle RIP for the bottom of the bag. If you don't throw >15mph , you may have a hard time getting a urethane ball to hold line.
Picked up my new Xponent tonight. 60 x 4.5 x 40 but gonna double check it cause pin looks closer to my ring finger than on my Zen Soul. Anyway, 280 first game out of box on THS. Had to move in 2 boards from my ZS and arc it out but it was crushing the pocket. Game 2 I lost my line and couldn't strike. Changed to my old Brunswick Igniter pearl in the 7th frame to salvage a 180 then finished up with a 215 with the Igniter. Gonna hit the Xponent with a 5000 and try that but love the shape
Thinking about starting with this xponent on the fresh on house, then into the idol cosmos then into the gold label, seems like it would be really really decent. Current arsenal is idol cosmos, zen u, reality, but not sure if I want an xponent or an eternity
I was wondering if you would be trying out the DV8 Chill. It is a solid bench mark type ball. It would likely be comparable to this Exponent. Just curious. Great videos.
We are sent balls by the manufacturers for review, and as of yet, we have not been provided a Chill. I would love to if they decide to send one our way!
If this is a recommended ball for fresh house shot, what would be a couple examples you like when you have to ball down from the Xponent? I'm more of a rev dominant bowler
There’s really not much of a “ball down” besides the hustle M-M, but I personally wouldn’t go that route anyways. If I start with something like this, I’m probably going to ball up to something with some more differential that’s shiny and zone change inside.
Thanks for the video! Just started to roll the eternity Pi to replace the reality, how would you rate this xponent to the TNT both at 4000grit. i also have the phase 2, but it has not worked out. im high speed and mid rev. Thanks
@@bowlersparadise2255 would it be a better/equal/minus replacement for the syn TNT. basically, trying to find a better success SYM for game 2.5 to 3. like I said, phase 2 has not been good to me, TNT has been better. not worried about brands. Thanks
Hey Ben! I'm a huge fan of your reviews. Would you see the Xponent and Pride Dynasty able to coexist? I love my Xponent and am considering the PD as something with a bit more shape to it.
Hey Stephen. Appreciate the kind words and glad to have you! Xponent and PD are going to overlap quite a bit. The covers are very similar in overall strength, and even though the PD is an asym, it doesn't really play like a true asym. If I was to pick one ball to pair with the Xponent from any brand as a 1-2 punch, i'd lean more towards the Brunswick Beyond Infinity. There's definitely other options that would work also, but I see those two getting along really well.
@@bowlersparadise2255 will that layout still hook please explain why this is a good layout is that only for this ball or can I use it for the summit as well?

If your rev rate is above 350, XPonent. If not, Eternity.
@@bowlersparadise2255 would the xponent be too close to the cosmos or would it be a good complement? Both look really similar and even front to back

Looking to add this ball to my bag I have a summit I am getting as well what would be the best layout for low speed and rev for this exponent ball?
50x4x35
@@bowlersparadise2255 will that layout still hook please explain why this is a good layout is that only for this ball or can I use it for the summit as well?
Nowi have iq tour solid and a original zen and hyraod pearl with this be good to add to my bag?
How is this ball compared to the Phase ll or the camo
little less than the phaze 2, little more than the camo. Shapes overall are pretty similar
Is deze bal het zelfste als de dv8 chill ?
This is not the same ball. Those two pieces are made by different manufacturers.
This is Simo's new favorite as a step down from the Idol
Good to know thanks!
I think this ball is a sleeper! 🤔
How pounds is your ball?
14
Does Ben use his thumb or no?
Nope
@@bowlersparadise2255it’s pretty impressive how he can manipulate his ball roll.
This is just a remake of the ordinance solid. Same cor,e, virtually same cover stock
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
That was also pre-SPI acquisition, so cover materials are definitely not the same.
