    In this video, Todd walks you through the Goodridge product line of brake lines, banjo bolts and banjo fittings we just started carrying. He also shows you how easy it is to install a brand new line with new fittings on a crusty front brake set up from a 2003 Sportster project we are currently working on. Wether you got a small master cylinder or caliper leak or you just hate the rust and corrosion on your brake line. These Goodrige brake line products make its super simple to change out that old brake line in no time at all and with minimal tools. Take old lines off, install new fittings and new line, bleed brakes, test brakes and go for a ride looking better than ever! It's that simple!

    • @lowbrowcustoms
      @lowbrowcustoms  2 года назад

      You would have to delete the anti lock module completely to by pass it. You could also just do completely new brake lines and use stuff like this Goodridge line. This video from this dude ,ruclips.net/video/9ru8O62A_A0/видео.html explains it well not sure if what year you bike is what they all look like etc. But it can be by passed. Biggest thing is you need to make sure you bleed them and test they work before ever going for a ride.

    For some reason Russel doesn't sell any brake lines with male fittings, while most of the lines I wish to replace have a male on at least one end. So, you end up buying a bunch of adapters and end up with a clusterfck. You can find lines with a banjo on one end, but for some reason the banjo is thinner that the one on the stock line, so you end up using two copper washers on each side. I've also run into a similar problem with their 3/8" banjo brake switch. The threaded section is too long for a motorcycle master cylinder.

    • @lowbrowcustoms

      You have to check your banjo bolt and banjo fitting sizes and if they are same as what we carry then yes they will work. We have a wide variety of sizes but Not sure off hand what size a 71 rear juice brake has, Best way to find out is measure yours.

      You can bleed them but your systems is going to error, it's best to go to a shop that has the computer and can do it right. Annoying but better to be safe with the one thing that stops you... About 8 months late to the party here, but great video as always Todd. BUT! It's not as good as your recent sportster Saturday front fork fiasco! Made me spit out my coffee. Lmas. Anyway I fashioned a cool bleeder system with my hvac vacuum pump. Kinda like you described, using 2 hoses running to a "catch can" if you will, one hose submerged in the fluid the other up high above fluid level. Worked. Like Russell speed bleeders to. Btw have you ever used Russell pro system ll nylon lines and fittings? The ones with the ferrel type compression (olives) fittings??. Just wondering as I am considering them. • @bushratbeachbum
      @bushratbeachbum 3 года назад +1

      You can get a double banjo bolt for the master cylinder and run two lines from it.
      Or you can put the double bolt on one of the calipers and run a link line to the other one.
      Hydraulics balance out so both calipers get the same pressure however you plumb it up
