I like both versions of this. Since this version goes with Maleficent, and she's all dark and scary and everything, it makes sense to have this version. And the original version is in Sleeping Beauty which is about Aurora and Phillip and it's more joyful and they just fell in love.

i can't get enough of this version,its beautiful how lana del rey sings this.

I read a lot of the comments and it seems like to many people this song creates a feeling of darkness and evil and I agree but disagree at the same time. to me, it makes me see the beauty of literal darkness, it makes me appreciate the night more, it brings beauty to the mysterious and unknown, like the scene in which Maleficent first allows Aurora to see what hides beyond the thorn walls and she says how it's all beautiful even though it's dark and spooky, that's exactly what this song makes me feel. It brings beauty to darkness
