Anastasia Nikolaevna, is loosely based on the real Romanov Family Massacre. In the movie Anastasia survives. But in the true history story Anastasia actually died with her family. She was only 17 and married. She was born July 18th, 1901, and died June 17th, 1918. She was assassinated in the Ipatiev House, Russia with the rest of her family

Once upon a December
She was bright, and full of life
Lived through joy and strife
She had her photo taken with a big cat fearlessly
She lived wonderfully and magically
Nearly 12 years have passed since her spirit went on
Nearly twelve years since she was gone
My amazing Grannie
Now a memory
Once upon a December
The most underrated animated film ever
I feel like this could be turned into a villain song, okay hear me out:
The antagonist singing this beautiful melody, as they dance around gracefully throughout a world that burns and is filled with madness. They dance and sing, as things burn and weird creatures beyond your understanding wander the land, the beautiful symphony describing the new world that they've created. And as they finish their little song, they curtsy infront of all the destruction and somesort of 'palace' they created with the wreckage. Something beautiful yet sickening at the same time.
I suck at writing but I tried 💀
This is my childhood song
Ilene’s voice is so beautiful she sounds just like my mother who would sing this song every time I watched Cinderella (almost every day)
She passed away recently which breaks my heart and I have so many memories attached to this song
And to you, random stranger on the internet thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this comment go tell your loved ones that you love them❤
This movie is probably the reason I like enemies to lovers books now lol
Enemies to lovers
Main characters : Dimitri and Anastasia
She was honestly beside the little mermaid my favorite princess and movie! 💜
When I saw the movie I thought it was a random movie my mom had found and we watched. Honestly it was 10/10 movie but I would love to see it again because it had so much meaning to it.
Whomever was not seen it I totally recommended it. What happened to her after is so sad tho🥺
Yeah...
How tf I didn't discovered Anastasia earlier-?!
Rest in peace romanov family..
Flashbacks of dancing at the school's New Year celebration when I was 7 are hitting so hard.
Even after all these years i can't stop listening its beautiful 😭😭❤❤
When I first heard it, I really only heard the background music, so I thought it was a scary song.
Hermosa canción 😊
adoro las dos versiones tanto en ingles como en español 😃
A mí se me eriza la piel cada que la escucho 🤗 Anastasia fue parte de mi infancia jamás olvidaré esa película.
The melody is so hauntingly sad. 😧😧😧
I absolutely adore this song it's so eerie along with the real horror in the history
Idk I always felt connected to this song my whole life I feel like I lived in this song in a past life I cry every time I hear and full of joy

OMG what a beautiful song😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
This song is so graceful, and so deep... it really touches the heart.
I will always love this song.
I could listen to this song all day long. It's magical. Unbelievable what happend to Anastasia. She was only 17 when she was killed. I'm 17 now.
This really brings back to my childhood. It's just so nostalgic. I remember singing this and dancing around in my kitchen and other times singing this while swinging on the swings at school. Good times.
Still my favorite song and movie
Love's day should be in December not February
Anastasia was such a underrated Disney princess and it’s so sad of what happened to the real Anastasia and the whole Romanov family Russia gets so much hate but they can’t help that it’s what there leader makes them do to Ukrainians and yes I’m posting this comment in 2023 I’m just so sad that Anastasia was only 17 too when she died her whole family was shot to death
Wait....she married??
@@jkjkjkssb270 not in the movie but the historical part yes she was married
For ever 💖
Dude I got freaking chills
So wonderful
I found myself singing this in the shower... so here I am 💕👑 2022 !!
