When the chorus first hit I legitimately got chills. This is amazing.

Each moment in this video made me feel for the characters.
How? Why? I shouldn’t feel anything for SAO, but you and Something Witty Entertainment made me feel for these characters.
Again How and Why? The original versions of these characters are blank slates and almost nothing that resembles a human being and then the abridged series gives them personalities that shouldn’t make me root for them but yet I still do. The arcs are awesome and make total sense.

I know a lot of Abridged fans are here (and they are justified-it is absolutely a treasure and fantastic! Episode 16 of season two dropped recently-check it out!), but I’m here for the original SAO, too!

This is such a good show. Hopefully it speeds up a bit from its 1 episode per year snails pace.
even though sao is terrible with lousy writing, horrible pacing, no character development once o ever and just a plot hole infested story, this anime was still amazing and of the best I have ever seen... oh and the abridged versions fixes all these problems and puts comedy over it as well so I highly recommend that too.

When I first saw Sao abridged I actually thought the part of this song used for the intro was actually the Sao theme tune because I hadn't watched the regular Sao until after watching the abridged
It fits so well.
I don't even know how many times I will watch this.
Man I fucking loved this anime. It just had so many charming and also heart-wrenching moments. I almost cried at the ending of SAO I and SAO II made me cry at the end when all the players paid respects to Yuuki. So good. Can't wait for SAO III. Fingers crossed it'll better than SAO I and II combined!

I love SAO Abridged
Imagine coming out of something like this, your body little more than a husk, years of the hardest exertion you can imagine, and you're little better off than a famine victim. Imagine the bonds between people and the mental state you have to adopt to survive, you come out to the real world, and your mind is just as maladapted as your body is, but unlike your body, your mind is still with you in full. I can imagine societies forming between these people in real life, coming together and choosing to live an isolated life so as not to be out of place in a world that does not value them as they have become.
Imagine also; them coming together to form societies who's purpose is to prosper their members. Mercenaries, business moguls with connections deeper than an ocean and firmer than a mountain. Groups with many bodies and a single mind. Truly something to be in awe, and maybe fear, of.
This was perfect. when the chorus hit and the boss battle from floor 1 started to play I was in love with this song...

GamersGuild I would have liked a good story and compelling characters. But that's what the abridged is for.
that was a question not to be answered T_T. plus sao abridged was meant only for comedy and characters, sao proper on the other hand, was meant for freakin badassery and full blown entertainment (when its not being romantic)
GamersGuild Which is kind of ironic since it's easier for me to take SAOA more seriously than the actual show. I watched the Kirito v kayaba fight recently, the regular and the abridged. the abridged was funny, but it was also epic and moving. While the original nearly put me to sleep. But that's just my own experience with the show proper.
