Printmaking at home: how to drypoint without a press

  • Here I show you how you can do printmaking at home using a car instead of a printing press, using tetra-pak from smoothie cartons to print with.
    If you don'e own any printing ink, you can use any water-based paint you have lying around, just make sure that you get the paper nice and wet first.

    You need a felt pad / blanket just under your top board...to get proper press on the paper...imo. I'm going to have to try this though. Good Luck.

      hey Kathy, yes these are waterbased- i used caligo safe wash printing inks for this video xx

      heya yes I think so- just have an experiement and make sure the paper is damp before hand. You can get all sorts of printmaking paper which is perfect for the job!
