The DQ across from work. :) Perfectly adequate. Occasionally the bun is a little off and feels "steamed" which kind of softens it, but then it kind of eventually un-softens and gets a bit weirdly chewy/rubbery. So, not a big fan when that happens. But, bun issues aside, perfectly adequate fish sandwich (as long as the lettuce is fresh and not wilty, which also happens once in a while; but the fish is pretty consistently decent/good).
If I had to choose one for flavor, Popeye's. If I wanted one that delivers well on their promise, Wendy's. Minus the cheese. It's too bad both those sandwiches don't stay on the menu all the time since those are "limited time" and only available during Lent.
I look forward to Arby's Crispy Fish every year and eat them often while they last! They usually run them through Lent, which ends in mid-April this year! After a few weeks, they usually have the Crispy Fish on a 2 for (some price) offer!
When Arby’s fish is available I eat the 2 for $6.99 every week. Way better deal than McDonald’s fish… $6.48 for a single 5 bite sandwich, they can cram it!
Looks like a perfectly normal fish sandwich. Looks like a normal breaded fish fillet, to me. Exactly the same as the DQ fish sandwich, which is perfectly fine, and the Carls Jr. fish sandwich I had a few months ago, which was also perfectly fine. Not sure what you mean about "processed fish," looks like a fish fillet to me, just a somewhat specifically shaped cut. (Sort of rounded-triangular.) Unlike say a "Filet-o-fish" which is just a bizarrely unnatural-looking "square" shape... I don't see what the hubbub is about, TBH... Looks perfectly fine to me. Granted, the cut is a bit longer than the bun itself, and oddly shaped [triangular], so looks a little weird. But, for fash food fish sandwiches, it looks perfectly par-for-the-course and in par with DQ & Carl's Jr.
@@amy_loves_the_chosen Crazy, right? Looks as if they breaded and fried that fish right then and there, rather than pulling it from a frozen bag of Gorton's.
I make tartar sauce using sweet relish. That is better than dill style. Keep peppermint gum in your pocket to kill the fishy taste after eating your lunch. Friendly advice to all folks.😂

Long John Silvers, honestly.

@@oldnerdreviews That is hard to say. I miss the former special at Wendy's during Lent.
Arby's fish sandwich is one of the best in fast food.
PLEASE bring back the CLIPBOARD OF FLUFF!
Agreed...I'm old school. Bring back tbe clipboard Tony!

They have three options to choose from, so enjoy!
Looks good Tony. Considering inflation a price increase of $1.80 over 8 years isn't surprising.
Yes Tony it is good I had it last Saturday love the sweet roll thank you for the review as always your the best food reviewer😂
I had this fish sandwich for lunch today. It wasn't bad. Not the best fish sandwich I have had but still good. Try it for yourself.
Ive always liked the fish sandwich from Arby's
It really is. The bread is the whole sandwich.
Arby's used to have a good fish sandwich. I even miss the Burger King Big Fish.
Fun Fact: My first job was at Arby's.
The old BK Big Fish was great!
i miss the whaler. THAT was a fish sammich.
Same, back in the 90s, the fish sandwich was good, thick and actual fish. I don't know what that sandwich was.

I always enjoyed their fish sandwiches. Too bad about the price change though. Last time they were here you could get 2 for $7.
They do use U.S.-caught Wild Alaska Pollock. We aren't sure why they didn't call that out with this time with this LTO.
Sounds like they could subtract at least one dollar from the cost and add 4-5 dill pickle slices.
I think it's one of the better sandwich out for fish sandwiches. Also agree 4 plus dollars ehh, I get them when they are sale usually during lent.
Hi! It's snowy here in Virginia today because of Winter Storm Blair. So I went sledding. How's the weather for you?
It's colder than normal for sure. Only 45 here, but Florida really doesn't see any snow.
Ha you forgot to get a drink nowing it was gonna be hot😂
It wasn't spicy, so I thought I'd be fine.
Alaska pollock is a common fish used today. You won't get cod nor whitefish. Too costly.
They have flounder at CaptainD's right now.

Check my Captain D's review of their fish sandwich and you'll see what I mean
@oldnerdreviews I did check that video out at Captian Ds, and wow, that fish sandwich looked amazing, and I can see what you mean now.

Fillet-o-fish, but without a cheese slice. Also that processed fish is too big for the bun.
The Captain D's one was ENORMOUS! ruclips.net/video/sXWlIqnbu3U/видео.html
That’s what SHE said.
lost my other account pleased to have found your channel again!

Sweet relish tartar sauce is the best!
They want a 5$ bill for BK melt so that isn’t bad .
The shredded lettuce killed it for me but I did enjoy the fish and the bun
What kind of lettuce do you prefer? Or maybe no lettuce?
I've had this Arby's fish sandwich, and it was delicious
'Structured meat' is a processed food normality.
Supposedly it's Talapia.. a 'farmed fish'
Definitely not Talapia. I don't like that fish. A fish company hit me up and told me it's Pollock.
Arby's used to be decent, now they're trash.
Culvers fish is top notch
I dont care anything and everything arbys is good
I used to really enjoy their standard roast beef, but something was off last time I tried it.
@@oldnerdreviews oh no i still rather have arbys than McDonald's
First and My birthday is on Wednesday.
Happy birthday!

I used to like Arby's every once in a while... well over a decade ago. Never again.
Why never again?
looks pretty sad
I'm glad it turned out better than it looked.
Not a big fan of Arby's
It's or what
