I switched last year from silver to gold because of the size/weight of silver. I haven’t sold any silver, just switched to buying gold. I still pick up a little silver here and there.
I believe, as with all intelligent investment opportunities, that diversification is your friend. Your precious metals 'portfolio' as it were is the same. Gold, Bullion, Fractional, Constitutional, Rounds, Bars, etc, all good to have! Just dont "panic" buy large portions all at once, thats when you can come to regret it. Thanks for your opinions KY!
So true KY. You have to start early if you do not you will find yourself having to catch up. Stay out of bad debt so you have money to invest consistently. The first time you invest in anything it is a little scary but that is with everything then all the sudden you are riding your bike without your hands.

I just sold a bunch of my silver and bought more gold simply because the silver was taking up too much space in my safe. I definitely agree on diversification of assets.
Silver is always going to be my go to but very shortly after starting back up collecting I added gold which I'm adding 1/10 AGE now that being said what do you recommend in buying in that price range if there is any at all that would be around that price..I really like the pesos but would rather have an American coins other the the AGE any feed be would be helpful. I’m in my 70’s I started collecting coins in my 20’s then I went into the Army went to war got wounded pretty bad stop collecting for some time until my last kid was out on her own my wife and I retired and moved from Ky to Fl yes I have SS and my disability from the military and a few others investment so I have more time and money to invest into my hobby
Has anyone thought of this gold spot price has exceeded the numismatic value of a lot pre 33 gold to the point it’s basically just selling for its content value my Question is if silver ever goes way up will it to exceed its numismatic value one would think since pre 33 gold has numismatic value if spot goes up the between 2 values it would go way up but it did not same question for silver if spot goes up high like 100 ounce silver will it make silver Morgan’s go way up or will they to just be sold for the value of silver content I have always been told that silver peace dollars silver Morgan dollar raw BU coins if silver goes up it only drives them up even higher and I think we are seeing that is not true at all
Buy gold. If silver is a way to get to it so be it. Business land and gold and silver. Used the equity thing over 20 yrs ago. Wouldn’t touch it now. Btw my 77 yr old mom says to me, if I knew then what o knew now, I wouldn’t have paid taxes or IRAs, bought gold instead. I was shocked how militant she’s become in her golden years as if all her life was a lie. I do my best 👍
