- In this vlog we are going to Suva city for a fundraising for Pai. We already prepared some grog that we are going to take for the fundraising. Pai is trying to go overseas and work and we are there to help raise some money.
Going from the village and to suva is a long journey when we live in the remote island. This is one of the ways we do it. The weather was with us on that day which made the journey easier.
This video shows how the fundraising takes place and where people come to donate some money and in return they can sit and have a grog session at the fundraising.

Fundraisers like this are why getting a patreon would help alot with extra cash and not just from your kava sales, especially when others would want to contribute more to your fundraising and business.
Just something to consider Uraia, I know some of your subscribers would be more than willing to help financially on patreon once your channel is fully monetized.

The kava is good. Dont know about the noni juice 😊
@@uraiatabua The method to bordering the KAVA to drink took many heads, thats business that cost so much time.
The bitterness does give a slight numbing of the tongue when you taste it for the first time, but from experience it's almost the same as noni juice IMO.

It’s another expression of love towards one another and is usually done during festive season and other happy occasions. During the olden days powder used were scented and gives out a beautiful flowery aroma. It is no longer available and they usually resort to Baby powder (the safest I guess 😂)

What's the purpose of the powder on the face??
It's part of the merrymaking and fun, especially between cousins where the girls splash baby powder on the faces of the boys and sometimes sign off with a playful kiss since this is clearly a family fundraiser. 😁
Just telling you from experience where I had to cover my nose and mouth so that the powder don't go in there. 😂 😅

Why did the lady put powder on your faces ?
It's a sign of affectionate fun since it was a thing back in the day where they used powdered scented flowers, these days its baby powder but all in good fun though and very popular between cousins in family functions like this.
