The Arizona Court of Appeals in 2020 heard the Jodi Arias appeal but upheld Jodi Arias conviction and life sentence in the 2008 homicide of her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander. They rejecting her assertions that she was denied a fair trial. Jodi Arias was convicted in 2013 and sentenced to life in prison in 2015 for the homicide of her ex-boyfriend, 30-year-old Travis Alexander. His body was found -- stabbed, shot in the face and slit in the neck from ear to ear -- in the shower of his Mesa, Arizona, home. Now Arias appealed her conviction and sentence, arguing partly that trial publicity -- including live media coverage of the proceedings -- and a prosecutor's alleged misconduct causing the Jodi Arias trial to be unfair and biased.
Travis Victor Alexander was an American salesman. Travis Alexander sustained 27 knife wounds and a gunshot to the head. Jodi Arias testified that it was self-defense, but she was convicted by the jury. This true crime case and trial received widespread media attention in the United States. But still Jodi Arias appears a remorseless psychopath with no apology to the Travis Alexander Family. Watch this 2021 analysis.
Is Jodi Arias a psychopath? Does Jodi Aria have borderline personality disorder? Or is it narcissistic personality disorder? To understand more analysis to add to the forensic psychology of this true crime, watch this body language analysis.
The Behavior Panel comprises the world's top body language and behavior experts: Scott Rouse, Mark Bowden, Chase Hughes, and Greg Hartley. They analyze behavior and body language in videos of public interest. This non-partisan group aims to educate and entertain, focusing on nonverbal communication, deception detection, behavioral analysis, statement analysis, interrogation, and resistance to interrogation. Through careful examination of gestures, expressions, linguistics, and cultural context, they reveal truths and deceptions. The Behavior Panel is prominently featured on The Dr. Phil Show and has its own show on the US TV Network, Merit Street Media.
By looking at the gestures, facial expressions, micro-expressions, and context around what people say, this group of nonverbal behavior experts reveals the possible truth and deceptions.
This behavior profiler group takes on the task of investigating the behavior behind the crime news that often forces us to think and feel the way we do. The Behavior Panel is a task force made up of four of the best body language and behavior profiler experts in the world.

I had never listened or read much about this case, so some of the remarks made me curious as to what she did. I then watched some videos ( partially) of the court testimony. There was definitely movement on MY forehead! All of that done to someone over a guy not wanting her any longer!? I know men have this attitude towards women sometimes especially if they are in an abusive relationship ( been there, lived that) but that kind of crazy I cannot begin to fathom. No wonder the poor guy wanted away from her so badly.

I just want to give a heartfelt thank you guys for educating me with all that you do!
I'm a manager at a local music store where we sell guitars and amps etc. We've had several guitars go missing and there were two guys that I suspected we're part of an external team that goes around shops in the area and steals instruments.
These are two of my 15 employees and I had a chat with these two people. One guy was locked down tight and there was no way he was going to give up anything.
The other guy I was able to see all the things you folks talk about. Eye blocking, lip compression, sweat on the upper lip Restless body language Etc.
And I was able to get this guy through a little bit of a bluff. I used one of your techniques where I said what would you say if I had film of you and this other fellow walking off the premises with instruments?
That did it. And I actually didn't have any film of either of them. But I was able to retrieve over $10,000 in instruments and we prosecuted these two and obviously they were let go.
So thank you so much for the education. It really helped me out and will continue to do so!

I thought for a second that you meant "we prosecuted these two and obviously they were let go" meant the court let them go free. That's what happens here in Australia. People commit crimes, there's evidence and absolute proof of what they did but they are let go due to what the courts view as a tough childhood or abusive upbringing. I believe that no child should grow up in fear and an abusive, neglectful environment. However, it feels like it happens way too often here and they just do it again.

    • @rossimarti
      @rossimarti Год назад

I also believe that people over compensate for what they lack. People who are overly confident are masking their fear of being shy. Bullies and domestic abusers are masking their own victimhood and fear of losing control, respectively, by exaggerating the 'opposite'--and you get aggressiveness and over-controlling. There's a lot more involved, but that is a good place to start understanding.

I THINK the phrase "mind your p's and q's" comes from printing press days. When you load the individual letters in a printing press, the stamps are the backwards version of a letter, so when it's stamped on paper, it reads the right way. So the printers had to be careful to keep their p's and q's straight, or they'd have to print the entire page (or qrint the entire qage) over again.

I have BPD. I’m extremely emotional... and she makes ppl with BPD who work their ass off to try to cope with it look horrible! Not all of us are manipulative, pathological liars. Emotional and “ passionate ” yes. But that is because when something triggers a emotion that causes panic or hurt in anyway. It’s like a faucet with no drain being turned on high and you are chained to the bottom of the bucket. You can’t stop it and no matter how hard you fight it and try to stay calm or control it. You can’t. BPD imo should be called emotional control disorder.
But not all of us are horrible people. I don’t want anyone to hurt or feel anything close to what I feel when I am hurting. I’d never want to cause anyone that kind of pain, panic, anxiety, stress, or heartbreak.

She inadvertently confessed twice in this video - First, when she admitted she caused the victim's and her own family pain without mentioning Travis' alleged attack on her. Second, when she implied the only reason she wouldn't give herself the death penalty is that she doesn't believe in capital punishment.
I think Jodi Arias is completely at peace with the fact that she murdered Travis, because she's permanently locked into the view that she was morally right to defend her narcissistic pride, and he was morally wrong to have cheated on her and ultimately rejected her.
She's turned the unconditionally loving aspect of Christianity on it's head (as so many abusers and criminals are doing these days) in order to justify her own moral betrayals. To her mind, she's innocent regardless of the facts, and Travis is guilty regardless of what she did to him. No matter what, she's an angel with clipped wings and he's the devil who got what he deserved.
In the final analysis, Jodi Arias is just an extreme version of a toxic, infantile narcissist who refuses to be held accountable for her actions, however immoral and destructive, while assuming the role of judge, jury, and executioner towards a love obsession who let her down.

A person in a state of self defense would NOT stab someone 27 times, deeply slice their throat plus deliver a fatal gun shot to their head. That's "overkill". Involving intense emotion & passion.
A person defending themselves would only need to use enough force to stop the attacker, not continue attacking & attacking. It's a fact in all the studies on profiling killers. The evidence speaks the truth.
