The Ray Bryant disc at @ 29:05 would have been a nice jazz score for a buck.

Setting prices that high for some rough looking used records…ouch. Good luck out there.

Thanks! Be sure to watch the end as well. I picked up some VG+ country LPs for $1 each and scored some always easy to sell Buck Owens in extremely good condition.

@@mountainmanpicker Saw that. Been watching for a while. You’re expanding your styles/picks recently. You’re chill and thorough when picking. Good stuff.

I hadda laugh at "Drag City" by Jan & Dean. That would sure have a different meaning in the 21st century. Good pick on the Al Caiola. I didn't even know Phil Lynott had solo albums; always good to learn something. I assume that "Jingle Bells" is a 78 -- what a find! I was lucky enough to pick up six 78s from the 1940s.

Thanks again and yea, the Jingle Bells was a cool find as well as Phil Lynott. Unfortunately, his LP was a little bit warped but glad to have a copy. I thought the Al Caiola might be a good grab, so I got it. Thanks!

Should have grabbed Wanda Jackson at @ 26:43 for a buck.

I have stores around me that price them like that first store you went to it’s tough out there for us record collectors

It IS tough out there for us as collectors, I agree completely. But, it's those little victories (and sometimes BIG ones) that keep me going. It's the thrill of the hunt, for sure. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.

How many people went by that Phil Lynott not knowing who he is unless they read the sticker. I'm going to be lucking for that Buck Owens in Japan.

I know! I was very surprised to find that Phil Lynott at an antique store at that price. As far as Buck Owens, I almost always grab his LPs. If I don't keep them, I can easily sell them at a fair but profitable price. Thanks for checking out the video!

That was painful to watch. I couldn’t get past the first ten minutes. I have probably half the albums you went through and half of them i got for a buck. The other half was under $5

Thanks for hanging in there for 10 minutes, it gets better toward the end. I end up with some VG+ - EX quality country LPs for $1 each and also found some LPs I've not yet owned until now. Thanks!

Nice Colorado town ambiance! Holy Mackerel, Double Fantasy for $25? I picked one up Sunday for less than $1. Used copy, but still - for once I feel I'm coming out well. Damn, I sold Men At Work for $9. Well, she was a courteous customer, so she got a steal. There are parents who came up in the 1980s complaining that their kids are stealing their music. I remember seeing John Cougar in concert. He was very good.

Thanks for checking it out and sharing your experiences. Appreciate the support as always, and yea the prices start out on the high side but get better with each picking spot, more coming soon! John Cougar was great when I saw him in the 80s.

    Who the heck priced those?

    • @mountainmanpicker

Great question! Glad I moved on and found some better deals. I was fine spending $20 for the Led Zeppelin Houses Of The Holy, though. It was a VG Vinyl that I needed. Thanks for watching!

that is some seriously offensive pricing

Thanks for watching. Yes, the beginning of the video shows some pretty high prices at an Antique Store in Colorado Springs, then the prices get a bit better as the video moves on until the final pick when the records are $1 each at an Estate Sale. Thanks for checking it out!
