IMO the last 7-8 are Nnoitra, Harribel, Baraggan, Starrk, Ikkaku, Ukitake, and Orihime. The last secret character, Dangai Ichigo. TYBW S1 pass are Unohana, Bambietta, Ichibei, and Yhwach. Season 2 will be Fullbringers Expansion so people can catch up to TYBW anime around Cour 4 release. Riruka, Tsukishima, Ginjo, and Fullbring Shikai Ichigo as DLC. Hoping for a Season Pass 3 or 4 will be Hollow theme, and we get White Ichigo, and the remaining Espadas, Aaroniero, Zommari, and Yammy as DLC. 🤞 Season Pass 4, could be the last, Visoreds Theme, Hachi, Lisa, Rose, and Kensei as DLC. I know this is too much, but I hope, with all DLC, the final roster is around 50 characters.
I think the dlc characters will primarily be characters that still make sense being in the game but don't make sense within the given arcs the game is covering so currently I think Unohana, Ishin, and Yachiru are no brainers but I don't know who the final character will be

Nah, Im a HUGE bleach fan and want this game to do well but if the character number is what it seems to be (around 35ish) then it wont be enough. We're already missing out on characters such as Vizard Tosen, the rest of the Vizards and we're going to be either missing out on a couple of Espada or Ikakku, or momo. Not to mention some of the faraccion too. Before people come at me with the "oh its the first entry in a new game series" so what? Its about the amount of story the game covers and with it covering from chapter 1 all the way to chapter 423 which makes it around 62% of the source material, 35ish characters isn't enough at all. here are some numbers from other games for comparison: Storm 1: Covers 35% of the manga and has 25 characters. Himokami Chronicles: Covers 32% of the manga and has 31 characters. One's Justice: Covers 28% of the manga and has 23 characters. One's Justice 2: Covers 38% of the manga and has 51 characters. Bleach: Soul Ignition: Covers over 20% (if that) of the manga and already 21 characters. for a game that cover 62% of the manga and only giving us 35ish is abysmal. Not all characters need to be in the game I agree. Characters such as Ukitake, Unohana, Iba, Sasakibe, Isane, some of the Vizards etc, etc. don't have enough material to make a full moveset out of. However, there are plenty of characters that have enough content in the source material for a full moveset (such as the privaron espada, some vizards, and faraccion) so that excuse is out of the window. For anyone trying to say that a smaller roster is a good thing because the more characters there are the more it will be like Sparking zero or whatever, with every character being the same copy and paste stock moves: no. That won't be the case.. evidently from the characters we already have. It's entirely up to the efforts of the development team. Tl;dr unless they are saving some characters for release or dropping multiple character trailers before release I wont be happy with 35ish characters if any of the espada or major characters are missing from the roster.
the story mode is going to have all those "missing" characters as you mention, for instance it has Jidanbo who is not a playable character but is in the story mode. They can gradually add the rest in, because they would first need to balance stuff out when it releases or its going to be too chaotic.

There's 7 weeks left 7 character's but ukitake isn't gonna be in it since he had no fights rather than showing us his shikai he's not playable
