I watched a few episodes of this show. The premise of uniting all these pulp newspaper strip comics heroes from the 1930s and 40s into a team to protect Earth was a great one for a cartoon show, sort of like a Raypunk League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. And this show came out before the various era-specific techpunk fantasy genres were even dreamed of.
Are the 90's Flash Gordon and Phantom 2040 cartoon a possibility on this channel? Would love to see them and any of the old B&W movie serials from the 1950's/60's if you have those as well for Flash, Mandrake, The Phantom, and Barney Google/Snuffy Smith.
Oldies read The Phantom and Mandrake in the newspaper. At the time I was 5 or 6 years old, Flash Gordon was no longer published. In the strips Lothar was a leader of an african tribe.

I’ve never seen this cartoon and I have to say, it’s so likable! Definitely an underrated cartoon and series.

Once they took the comics from the pages to the big screen and the movies, they really started something BIG that caught on through the years. 👍
