Yes! This list
lol putting TD s4 on there is a joke, right? What a horrible installment, and I say that as someone who actually kinda liked s2
@Toxodos i enjoyed bits n pieces of 2 and 3. Nothing like the love i have for 1. But 4 despite me trying hard to love it just was a terrible season. Worst yet imo.
Only Fallout is worth the watch.
When I saw the prospect of Ripley, I got very excited, but that disappeared as soon as I discovered it had a complete absence of xenomorphs.
I already miss Shogun, bummed there won’t be a second season
I haven't watched this show yet but have wanted to is it worth it and is it good and y won't thereb a next season
@@honatacobarrubias8004hi, absolutely, it's worth it. As for the reason why there won't be a second season, it's because it's a miniseries and there was only one book about the characters in Shogun that the mini-series is based on.
It’s worth checking out and is available on Hulu, if you have it.
Hopefully they'll do some of the other books.
Thanks for clearing that up for me, im a sucker for samurai movies or warrior movies/ shows so this looked straight up interesting from the scenery to the colors to the epic looking scenes im about to start binging it today thanks guys
True Detective is a silly joke now
Yeah, recommending True Detective Night Country this makes me not take this list seriously.
I would add Monsieur Spade to this list. It's by the same people who did The Queen's Gambit, and reimagines classic Dashiell Hammett detective Sam Spade as a retiree in the south of France. It combines the hard boiled dialogue of Humphrey Bogart, the insane plotting of The Da Vinci Code and the tone of classic sitcom Allo Allo. It's a strange mixture, but it somehow works and is way better than I've made that sound.
Watch it, but the conclusion was terrible. Spade wasn't even needed for the solution. It's like Raiders of the Lost Arc. Take Indiana Jones out of the story and the ending would have been the same.
You missed Parasyte: The Grey, House Of Ninjas, The Gentlemen, Dead Boy Detectives, The Last Airbender, Good Bye Earth.
I would recommend Constellation on Apple, very good SciFi for those who like a thinking show
Dark Matter seems interesting too.
I've been a Walton Goggins fan since Justified. He made that show. And he makes this one, too.
Um... Sarayu Blue has been around for awhile... Maybe this could be her big breakout moment, but a newcomer, she is not
Yeah I thought that aswell!Blockers, Never have I ever.......
I've already got half of these on my watch list already!
It might be interesting to watch the remake of the original "Shogun" mini-series.
It's a relly good character peice. Don't expect a ton of action
*Sees title* "I wonder if Fallout is gonna be on this list." *clicks* "Yup."
True Detective Night Country was crap other than Jodie Foster's character/performance.
“Hey watch Mr. And Mrs. Smith” show gets cancelled.
Thank you I wanted to watch more shows, greatly appreciated.
Night Country was such a disappointment.
Fallout and shogun are my jam❤❤❤❤❤
You haven't watched either
True Detective Night Country SUCKS don’t waste your time and 3 Body Problems should be better but we’ll have to see next season, shouldn’t have to wait for a next season to see if a show is good enough smh
3 body problems is pretty good. If you have read the books it dumbs things down and makes things easier to understand.
3 Body Problem was brilliant.
Shogun
you lost all credibility as soon as you listed night country, it was garbage....
Been on a binge streak as of late watched Fallout then Deadboy detectives (go watch it) then Heartbreak high with finishing on watching From, all in 5 days Next up is 3 body problem and Blood of zeus season 2 coming out in 2 days.
Please watch 3 Body Problem. It had not a lot of viewers and it did cost a lot.
It was in the top ten for 4 weeks but the Netflix algorithm is fickle so it got cancelled
Totally underwhelmed with Mr. & Mrs. Smith. On one level we are supposed to sympathise with them, but like the episode 1 Building explosion, they actually do not give a s**t about "Collateral damage" (The Catering Staff working there). Poor them. but oh well bad luck for them, moving on. seems to be their approach.
A Man in Full on Netflix starring Jeff Daniels is 5 stars in my book and most definitely worth a watch, agree with much of the list except Night Country which, as many have already said, including every other critic I've read/watched, was just abomnible and by far the worst of the TD anthology series - not even the normally excellent Jodie Fisher had a hope of saving it!
Shogun was ok... just disappointed not more of its romance and lighthearted moments were not adapted from the novel.
Them: The Scare
A few things
Shogun is a remake based on the same book. Very well done remake of a very well done original, but remake all the same.
Mr & Mrs Smith is slow. It has too much dead air time. I compare this to European art films, not American (US) action shows. It's hard to watch because of that - I wouldn't have put it on this list.
People may have a problems with 3 Body Problem because of the existential themes. People should consider that if they are going to watch this show. I, personally, like it and think it should have been higher on this list.
Can someone help me finding a movie where a soldier survives a night outside of the trenches and when he returns to his trench he gets shot in the head by his own for mistaking him for an enemy soldier? I ve been searching everywhere i cant find the name
Sounds like The King's Man
Couldn't even finish the first episode of True Detective, Foster is horrible in in.
True Detective is a sad state of affairs. Each series gets worse and worse
lol I’ve seen most of the shows already 😅 they are good 👍
Of the ones on the list that I've seen, almost completely agree. Almost. True Detective: Night Country sucked. It had a lot of good going for it but the terrible storytelling squandered all that to tell a completely lackluster and anticlimactic mystery.
Why didn't you guys mention Hazbin Hotel, you cowards!?
Algorithm 👍🏾
X-Men 97, Mr and Mrs Smith, Fallout, and Shogun are definitely worth a watch. Everything else seems to range from mid to trash.
Ripley being black and white is a big turnoff to me
X-Men ‘97 is fantastic
The Gentlemen was robbed
The fact the Xmen 97 got recognized speaks volumes to its caliber.
There are some phenomenal heavy hitters present on this list and seeing this superhero series (specifically a Disney+ one) just shows how much Marvel needs to appreciate what they have here.
X-Men ‘97 is the best show on the list.
Also, can you guys not say Xavier died in X-Men ‘97 please? That’s wrong and if you watch the show, you’ll see what happened to him and he DIDN’T DIE.
X-Men is not good. The animation is awful, as well as the story. Just an overall waste of time.
Shogun is an imperialist show and that's why I stopped watching.
Did you stop watching after minute 1?
@@howler109 I watched like 3 episodes and it became a white savior trope. So sick of it.
@@raycar9827 Blackthorne is the tragic figure, while the heroine of the show (and book) is Lady Mariko. You really have no idea what you are talking about.
@@TheBigChinoDon was the white guy the hero in a show called Shogun about Japanese society? It's a white savior show.
@@raycar9827 Good God. NOOOOOOO
Shogun is an imperialist show and that's why I stopped watching.
