This might be the most pivotal post season move after PG to the Sixers and Klay to Dallas. I’ve always loved Chris Paul as a leader and a true point guard. Not only will he make the Spurs players grow tf up and stop being selfish, he can facilitate and is the perfect guard for big men.

What are they are talking about Trae Young doesn’t play defense and turns the ball over too much. The Spurs were bad with turnovers. Adding Castle and CP3 puts everybody in their normal positions. I think they can get to the 10th seed to 8th seed.

For a bunch of former players these dudes seem to know nothing of trying to develop a winning organization. The spurs are not trying to win right now, they’re barely a couple years into a rebuild. CP3 has proven to be a great vet to help mentor young players. They didn’t sign him on a 1 year contract to “turn them into a playoff team” next year. They’re setting a foundation so they can be a winning team for 10-15 years, and thats not accomplished in one fuckin offseason by simply rushing to pick up a free-agent star like these doofs suggest

@@senorstronk as a die hard spurs fan that def sounds enticing but I’m less interested in being a contender right now and more interested in putting the right pieces around wemby to where we can be a sustainable winning team for decades like we were with Duncan. Hoping for long term success instead of instant gratification
