I am thinking about building him. Is there a better way to end the game than venture into the dungeon? I dound a single vehicle that can be blinked for damage and a single creature that can make opponents lose 2 life when it enters. Just trying to build out options
You can definitely build this with multiple other options. There're so many creatures with enter-the-battlefield triggers. Just use whichever ones call to you most. That's why I went with dungeons, because I love the mechanic.
I wonder why you're not running Charming Prince and Flickerwisp. I know they flicker (i.e return at end of turn) but they help reuse EtBs and with Preston form a slow blink engine
They can definitely be added and there are a ton of them. For me, it boils down to speed and utility. If they had flash then yes, they would've been in here because that delayed blink is amazing against boardwipes. However, they can only be cast during our own turn. I found this too slow especially considering that there are still more repeatable options now in monowhite.
Since it's a wincon you can literally substitute it for any other wincon you wanted. To the point where you could even put in Altar of the Brood if you wanted to win via mill. Literally the sky's the limit.
Shame Agrus has a boros colour identity. He’s incredibly powerful with blink abilities. I’m looking forward to having him and Preston in my Livio/Kraum blink deck
Same! Agrus is another Jumpstart2022 commander I'm brewing with and am considering making it a blink deck, as well. If I do, Preston is 100% going in the 99 of that one.
My girl loves to play jumpstarts, because it makes less of a board and obviously has no deck construction. But when she drew that Blink deck and started combo'ing ETBs, she inmeadiatly went "couldn't this be a commander deck"? :p
Do you think its boring to play with preston? Or it will be annoying for the opponents? I really like him but he seems very strong... Just Draw for example felidar Guardian and... Game end
Preston is definitely strong but not as strong as something like Brago, King Eternal. Preston is still monowhite and doesn't do anything himself on his own. He needs support so that does nerf him a bit. At least when compared to better blink commanders.
I personally love mono white flicker decks. Blue/white makes the deck way too strong. I was running Naadar for the longest time but I will absolutely make this adorable bunny.
You don't have to. (And they're not glued, they're stickered. But I get what you mean.) That's why I went through the work of stiffening and laminating the stickers individually so they're more like counters than stickers.
I got goblins and blink the other night. When you're dropping goblins from your library with Preston on the field... life gets real broken
Nice!

If we wanted to avoid using stickers what would you recommend switching in for the sticker card

@@TheCommanderTavern Either that or another busted blink target like Angel of Invention (tokens AND anthems!)
@@thelasttrueblade6684 That's a good card to put in since Angel of Invention will still give the boon even if the copy is a wee 0/1.

Tell me that you like Panharmonicon, without saying that you like Panharmonicon...
I know, right?!

You love to see it :P
I have always said that Jumpstart was the best way to start playing Magic.

This is going directly into my Brago deck to make my play group hate me even more.
Big same! 😈

I love Nadaar. I would even include it here if not for Radiant Solar being so much better.
No matter how good it is im not gluing shit on my cards
