Its scenes like this that remind me what an experience this was. Out of all the calm moments, this is the one that made me tear up. It really gets a nostalgic reaction. The music is pitch perfect and... Well I could gush over this for ages but it doesn't do it justice. EDIT: Well here I am coming back to this video again going into the final months of school now. I’m growing up, and this game man... it just makes me think back to those days in my childhood when I could do anything. Still a fantastic experience and scenes like this still get a emotional reaction from me. EDIT 2: Aha here I am again, now officially an adult and pretty lost in the world. Life is Strange still provides that deep emotional catharsis I need. You can’t turn back the clock, and this game proves that, but I’ll never forget the times I had when I was young. It’s funny, you look back on different parts of your life with rose tinted glasses. When I first played this, I desperately missed being a small child. 5 years on, I miss being that angsty teen who really had nothing to worry about. Time flies as they say, but experiences like LiS can stay with you forever. This game changed my life. EDIT 3: Hey again! I’ve now got my dream job, I’m doing everything I’ve ever wanted. A couple months ago, I made a video going into detail about what this game means to me, but what I’ve since realised is that, although I’ve moved on from the point at which I needed Life is Strange the most, it’s universal. I’m still having moments, feelings and thoughts that this game nails. It almost feels like Life is Strange warned me, prepared me, 6 years ago, for what was to come. The heartbreak, the pain, the trials and ultimately the triumphs. And hey, it’s given me this weird little RUclips comment that I can vent into, throw my thoughts out into the wind like some strange diary! I don’t know who’s out there, who’s listening, who even cares, but hey... I love ya. I guess it’s true what they say, Life is... weird ;)
This is so bittersweet. I felt so sad after finishing this game because it draws a lot of parallels with my life. Gosh I wish I could go back and live my teenage years again, I would have done so many things differently. :'(
I’m not kidding, i just cried listening to this, thinking about my life and the world and story of Life is Strange, not that it’s a particularly sad song, but there’s just something in this song that just makes me want to cry
This game is so important to me... I'm so happy to see a quiet and reflective game like this focusing so much on emotions. The mood and atmosphere were fantastic. I would love a season 2, and wouldn't even need the same setting or characters - Dontnod's talent for constructing a compelling and emotional world makes me believe they can produce something else incredibly moving and I can't wait to see it.
I visited my childhood home today. And listening to this music while having severe notalgia hit me...It is a feeling that I starved for a very long time. I spent 20 years there, and watching those streets where I grew up in, my favourite spots...finding the hidden paintings on corners of my old house, to the patches of mountains which haven't been cut down due to urbanization, it was mesmerizing. I loved every bit of it! A heartbreaking moment followed when I entered a bakery I was fond of, and found out that its original owner was killed in an accident, and the bakery was facing demise. The best moment was when I saw a smal stall vendor who only sold kebabs, now owning a proper eatery with good customers. Going to do it again someday!
Please do one in Chloe's room. I'd very much like to spend 10 minutes of my day there. Thank you, Life is Strange. Thank you for everything. The characters, the lessons, the feels, Thank you. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Old swing sets are easily the saddest thing on the entire planet. Between this game and The Fault In Our Stars movie, I burst into tears whenever I see one now :P
Whenever I had the chance to "sit down" in this game,I took advantage of it! I felt so relaxed and so calm. My sister throught is was a waste of time but man! It sure wasn't. You can also hear some of her thoughts about the past,present e.t.c Just love it!
Dear Dontnod Team, In the name of all Life Is Strange players, I can say that we where more than amazed and left speechless by your game. We are all impatiently and desperately expecting a second season and if you consider creating one (which would be the coolest thing ever!) I have an interesting idea: In order to stay in the Arcadia Bay universe, you could create a DLC which is illuminating the story of Rachel in the Time Max left to San Francisco. We would be able to play her and listen to her thoughts, the same way as we did with Max. Parallel to Max, Rachel could discover her own superpower. Also it would be amazing to play Chloe for a while, which could be very exciting as well. In the end we see Chloe nearly driving into Max (as seen in the first episode) so the story blends toghether again. I am not expecting a response, even less the realisation of my idea, but it would be an indescribable cool gift to the most loyal fanbase out there! Best Regards Christoph

Nothing will ever come close to the beauty and resounding truth that is Life is Strange. I found a little piece of my soul in this game, a little part of me that was so lost and so distraught with life. This game made me realize that I need to cherish my loved ones and hold on to the moments, good or bad, because you really cannot turn back time. Once they happen, they happen and that’s that. I will miss you, Max, Chloe, Rachel, Warren, Victoria, Joyce, David, Frank, Pompidou, and everyone else. You are some of the most honest characters in a video game that I have ever had the honor to play. The lessons I learned, the laughs I had, it’s all thanks to you! Let’s leave this mosh pit with filled hearts, shaka brahs!
What I like about this, is that they put so much little details in this game. In this part, you hear a dog and birds in the background, you hear a fly, you hear cars, etc. It's awesome that they made time to put those little things in this game!
