A9 worst things imo:
1: fuel system!!!
2: no offline
3: touch drive
4: car packs
The only thing I can agree with you is 'no offline'. Fuel system is fine, because it's better to have a fuel system for every car than to have one fuel system for all cars. You can use up one of your car's fuel and if there's another race that needs a similar car you can use another one that has similar performance. Touch Drive imo is a great improvement for the game because I have just came into realization that there are a few tracks with multiple gaps in a row about one car wide. You won't be getting through that with the normal controls. But then even if you don't like the touchdrive feature you can always turn it off. About the car packs, you do realize that most of every car's blueprints can be obtained from the game itself right? The McLaren P1, a car introduced in a car pack, has blueprints that can be obtained from team/crew milestones. That's F2P enough for me.
EricPlayZ Well what they could've done to stop the hacking is to actually listen to the demands of the players. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of players who have actually complained about the ridiculously low income per offline race (I also happen to experience as such in Asphalt 8). Every car in Asphalt 8's price is about over ten times your income from a single offline race (a win with collecting 5 stars barely earns you a fraction of a decent car' price).

They are equally fun, but not for the same reasons I think. Asphalt 9 is all about knowing how and when to use your nitrous (great graphics and stunning cars, though). Asphalt 8 is all about speed and precision. What I still don't like in either of them is that necessity of having KINGS ON EACH Class; I want diversity. Sadly, they will keep adding faster cars on Asphalt 8 until we get a car that can go as fast as 800 mph; I'm calling it, in 2020 we'll get a McLaren Ultimate GTR-1-X-Prototype Ultra Instinct Special Final Edition reaching a top speed of 800 mph and it will require 50,000 Tokens to MAX, and 200 Ultra Legendary Ion Flux- Engines to PRO.
TheBoltMaster Nah, that's not what I meant. What I meant by "diversity" is having a bunch of excellent choices for events, career mode and multiplayer. In A9 you have to use cars that are not that good, and you have to upgrade them so you can finish events and career sessions, so you need to waste your credits in cars you don't want. I mean if you like all the cars and you enjoy driving all of them that's great, good for you. I don't like the idea of upgrading cars I know I won't be using again unless it's required. But anyway I don't know what to say anymore.

In asphalt 8 you can grind credits to get those top tier cars with also the blue print system. Now , with asphalt 9, there's only the blueprint systems to get cars which is MANY MANY times worse than ashpalt 8. Even gameplay wise in terms of drifting, asphalt 9 doesen't feel realistic. . Asphalt 9 only wins in the graphics department atm. But it was just released so time can only tell

Asphalt 8 is way better but Asphalt 9 is new so its more fun to explore the new stuff. Alot of people will play Asphalt 9 and then pass on to Asphalt 8 once again I think 😂

Tbh I use to like asphalt 8 but now when asphalt 9 came out I play it all the time and I remember those memories when I raged on asphalt 8. I miss those memories
for me, even though the speed is technically lower in asphalt 9, it still _feels_ fast to me because of the physics and gameplay style.

A9 is much more preferred due to the better graphics, and fair matchmaking.
But Airborne has the edge on the number of cars, compatibility for almost all devices,
and a more simple upgrade system.

I actually like asphault nine a lot. The blueprint system makes saving up money for upgrades easier and you can just earn cars in the career mode and the graphics are amazing when they actually work *wink wink*
I don't think Asphalt 9 should be criticized for graphics settings not being compatible. The fact of the matter is, as games evolve the graphics get better, and also more intensive. They can't work magic and make better graphics work on the same hardware. So, it was either make everyone have lower graphics, or have some people with not as powerful computers have lower graphics and have other people have much higher graphics.
Your graphics are so low because you have a intel graphics 4000.
Mine is an intel graphics family 6000 (slightly better) i cant even run nfs most wanted 2005 widescreen mod on full graphics.
Edit: use advanced graphics.
I'd recommend you get a cheap GPU because anything is better than Intel's Integrated Graphics.

A8 definitely wins. A8 was amazing. A9 was still good tho. A9 was 50% decent and 50% a mixed bag game. Here are my pros and cons with each game;
A8 Pros:
-Good car upgrading system
-Game modes on quick solo race (elimination, infection, etc.)
-Good Graphics
-Outstanding and creative maps
-Awesome soundtracks
-Ability to choose or pause soundtracks
-Long, 10 second boosts
-Few soundtracks that stick out from the other ones
-Fast feeling with cars
-Great Career
-No wifi needed to race
A8 Cons:
-Pay to win
-Overpriced car that litteraly takes $4000 to buy with VIP pts
-No choice of number of laps
9.7/10
A9 Pros:
-Outstanding graphics
-Good Career
-Daily Loot
-Decent maps
-Decent Soundtracks
-Choice of Laps on quick solo race
-Great Details
-Sticks to two colors (red and black) mostly to make a red black theme
-Touch Drive
-Updates A lot
- Car hunt
A9 Cons:
-No choice to pause, or choose soundtracks
-No soundtracks that stick out
-Awful Multiplayer
-Maps that are not creative enough
-Pay to win
-Fuel system
-Too slow car speed
-Microtransactions
These were all I can think of at the moment, so these might not be super accurate.

To be honest Asphalt 8 will always be my favorite car game , my fastest car i have right now is the Pagani Zonda R being it's almost fully Max upgrade and full Max Pro but Asphalt 8 will always be my favorite game in my heart

No one had requested this video before because I'm pretty sure everyone is still trying to handle the difference and make up their minds on whether they like the new addition to the series or not. I'm personally liking the graphics a lot, but I miss the SPEED, dude, adrenaline! Asphalt 9 is a lot of fun; the cars look amazing. But Asphalt 8 gives me what I trully love in racing games, OVERLY FAST CARS that demand sharp reflexes and precision.

I like asphalt 9 blueprint system is like an earn to win not pay to win I like that because it feels like an accomplishment and I like that.
Yes I know there is touch drive system in A9 but who one choses it, the player then can never increase its skills and will then stuck at a point of carrier but without touch drive you can increase your skills at the heights of sky. my biggest problem with 9 is the driving i hate that drifting is now not only useless but it negatively affects your racing
There are already so many hackers in Asphalt 9, for example unlimited nitro, instant respawn/no damage, plus when you see yourself come first but they come first in the results.
A9 progress is platform-locked, so on windows for example your progress is saved to your xbl account, so you can't use that progress on android for example, only on another PC
Good review, I agree with a lot of your points. One thing though, if you think about it, lower ranked cars in A8 like the Dart went at about 250 km/h (~155mph). I'd say it isn't that much of a difference compared with starter cars in A9. Also, once you get A-class cars like the P1, Vulcan, etc. you can literally go over 500km/h just like in A8 (and with A9 physics that becomes twice as fun!!)
Cross save/platform is not possible but they did hint at it in the future

I like asphalt 9, I’ve been playing it for about 5 days now
First off, I respect all opinions in both fantastic games. However, I'll be honest, but I like Asphalt 9 more because I have a feeling it's much more skill oriented rather than just flying off the map with long nitro (Audi R8 SE, Apollo IE, etc). Cars need to accelerate more in turns and much more, giving players a much better chance at fair fights. I've done multiplayer and all of these races I've done are mostly close. There were very few outliers, unless if one wrecks a lot. Plus, maps are much more challenging. Graphics are glorious for a mobile game. I'm not the biggest fan of the BP system, but it does prevent P2W's from getting their dream cars faster. So far, I think A9 is much more balanced and I can only hope it remains that way. (Also they added Fate of the Furious soundtrack on that game, that's immediately bonus points right there)
About the graphics in A9.. I think the miminum processor required to run it on PC is a 3rd gen i3. Throw a 3rd gen i5, or even i7 if you can afford it and them boom. Easy max graphics :)

Asphalt 9 is genuinely a great game, people are only disappointed because it’s not what they expected. And for the graphics, the reason It doesn’t run is because kids should stop trying to run it on they’re first gen iPads or Chinese rip-offs. I have a pc from 2013 and it runs it completely fine at high. I mean physics are good, graphics are amazing and gameplay is fun (if you know how to actually play)

I got asphalt 9 on the day of offical release and still really enjoy it,its just a huge grind
What are your specs? I play this game on a Surface Pro 3. I put it on my 27 in monitor and use an Xbox controller. I feel like this is the racing game that can run on any PC. I can't even get the demo for Forza 3 to load lol, but A9 works great with most of those features checked(150% resolution). Sure a dedicated GPU would help, but most PC games are completely unplayable without a dedicated GPU, not to sound like a fanboy or anything.

0:00-0:10 Aris you have to sign in to Xbox Live on the main account that you wanna sign into on another device to save it I think because that’s how it worked for me on Asphalt 8 idk about Asphalt 9 but they have a thing where you can sign in to Xbox Live so it might work

Aris, don’t buy one Premium pack, save up your tokens and buy blueprint packs in Legend Store or buy car packs with featured cars. But don’t buy the Camaro ZL1 featured car pack.
personally i agree with boost nerfing, second thing, i played, haven't spent any penny on asphalt 9 and still got ton of blueprints, it's to early to judge the game in my opinion, also it's impossible to hack in online races if you can't even access offline part, they have better firewallls than before.
