Most store bought baby food USED to have added sugar, salt, and preservatives, decades ago. But unless it is a cheap off brand (extremely rare anymore), baby foods are free of those ingredients, and have been for years (like 2 or 3 decades).
And while it IS true that you can control the content of your baby's diet by making your own baby food. Using only organic produce, or certain specific cultivars of bean or pea for instance, it is also harder to get the ultra smooth consistency of store bought baby food at home. This can make it harder for babies to learn to swallow solid food. Their palates aren't used to dealing with even the tiniest pieces of solids, and it is easier to help them adjust by starting with ultra smooth foods most people don't have the proper equipment to make.
I know this from personal experience, I was unable to swallow textured food till I was 4 years old. A choking incident when my mom tried feeding me homemade baby food the first time, caused a gag reaction that made me vomit anytime I had anything with texture in my mouth. It took 4 years to get over that particular mental block.

Fun fact sealing things in glass jars is called canning the can is short for canister not tin cans canning can be done in both glass or metal as long as it is hermetically sealed and sterilized. Maybe that canned baby food did hurt you my mom gave me home made food (mashing up what they would have for dinner pulled out before any bad additives) and I have never canned in my life but knew this. Though I will get in to canning when I have my own kids because I can make huge batches of safe baby food and make my own canned baby food in glass jars.

You should never have a dog. They are a useless being that will cause you to spend money on food and vet visits. And all they do is shit all over your house and yard. Instead, simply send time petting over people's dogs. You'll get all the satisfaction of a smelly hand without the added costs and work of picking up their poop. I really learned a lot from this video.

I think items like the banana slicer works well for businesses with higher foot traffic as it honestly does save more accumulated time and energy. Not all of these items make sense for individual use but some are when it comes to larger groups with little downtime. It also avoids the risk of the staff cutting their hands/fingers during rush hour. But there's nothing wrong with these items being used for individual use, either. Perhaps the person is physically disabled or just prefers having something like these. Who knows? And it shouldn't even matter what others prefer to use.

The finish is exquisite, and I couldn't have asked for a better container to store my new Buggatti Veyron Tomato soup (Valued at just under 3.2 billion Chinese Gold Bullion Rupees of Power). I will say however I am not impressed with its ability to be used as a microwaveable container. It totally gunked up the inside of my Saiga 500 watt Assault-Microwave. But in short I gladly give this product 17/3.14 Shiny sky discs.

I totally agree with buying a case for your phone like literally right after you purchase it!!! Lol
Different way to save money but not paper, write 1-100 or 1-200 on each envelope and mix them up. Everyday pick one and put that number of money in that and put it away. It would add up! Some cannot afford to do it everyday (like me) but set it up to what you could maybe do! Just different and makes it mysterious fun.
A person I know worked as a janitor/cleaner would put any money found on the floor, ground, outside anywhere in a huge water jug and taped it well... he saved for 8 years... he finally took it to the bank and was able to purchase a used but great motor home, 3 big screen smart TV's and his kids got so much new toys, games and nice changes to their bedrooms. All that from coins and bending over here & there!! I know 8 years is a long time but hey, its free and if you could sit on that never needing it, why not! Like a side job but little to no effort!
They say if you see a penny pick it up! 😉

I'd actually see this vid as satire more than anything. A lot of these "useless" things might not be stamped with Mother Neccessity's stamp of approval on them, but the Father of Invention definitely would. The banana slicer, for example, actually saves time and potential injury and humiliation by cutting whole bananas at once, while sonic bug repellents - that in addition to me having actually seen them in a few "unique" magazines over the years - are merely to treat the symptoms, rather than cure the problem.
Plus, it could be used for trolling Mother Nature herself: just plug one in next to a chocolate log. It's right out in the open, yet insects can't go anywhere near it just because of that incessant sound. Finally, combine with an iPlug (what I'll be calling "smart plugs" from now on) on a much longer schedule, and you can outright prevent insects from "evolving" to put up with the sound itself, since they're not consistently exposed to it anymore.
And let's not forget about the log and tim can: considering it's a one-of-a-kind log, it makes perfect sense to price it that high. And as for that tin can? Well, if I were living in a trailer in the backcountry, it's be guaranteed to make the other bunpkins jealous that they don't even get anything like it. Besides, as for all these "useless" products, knowing Uncle John of Bathroom Reader fame, he's willing to "waste" his precious money if that means adding to his weird novelty collections. :*)

Well, depends on where you buy an extended warranty. In my country, in shop where I work, if goods broke before first 2 years, they will give you back the whole amounth of warranty you paid. And if it broke between years 3-5, no matter if it’s manufactured problem, they have to fix it (in 30 days or 5 day, depends on which warranty you paid for). And if they don’t, they have to pay you full price you paid for your goods, no matter it’s years old. I actually use it on my washing machine. I have it for almost 4 years and it broke down. Repair man came in day 2 and said he can’t fix it in 5 day limit. Next morning I got e-mail with money back and in the evening I had brand new washing machine. The WM cost me 15000Kč and warranty 2500Kč. Now I have a new 15000Kč WS and didn’t pay anything (but another warranty on this one too, just in case)

    • @ShinyBusterBaby
      @ShinyBusterBaby 6 лет назад +5

A butter spreader usually comes with a proper set of dining utensils. They're an antiquated tool only used in proper formal settings. Most normal people don't have them unless they received a set for a wedding gift. Otherwise, it would be a butter knife. Not too many people eat according to proper etiquette any more. Hell, you'd be hard pressed to find folks with manners enough to grace their food anymore!!! Most folks just shove shit in their faces without thinking about it.

I always look at the pre-cut fruits and vegetables and think how nice it would be to get them, but they cost more than whole produce.
But the issue with buying a bunch of melons and fruits and vegetables and making your own, is that they go bad quickly. Unless you have a good-sized family, you would have to stuff yourself on them for the next week or two. I think the pre-cut foods are for single people. Also what half-gallons of milk and half-dozens of eggs are for.

Did you know that when Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger immigrated to the US to be a world class body builder, he and his friend started a brick laying company.
At first, they struggled to get in the market. However, using his Austrian roots, they rebranded as a high-end brick laying company specializing in an "Eastern European" technique (sounds fancy and exotic lol).
Gov. Schwarzenegger then took his share of the profits and invested in property. Becoming financially secure all before becoming a world famous actor.
    Save and invest wisely everyone.

You can easily make one: just paint all the discs blue, saving one of each colour. Fill the board, leaving one space empty. Glue blue discs in place. Done!
Hints: - you can save time and glue --- you only need to glue the top disc in each column!
      - Strictly speaking, you only have to keep one disc (of either colour) unpainted.
      - I don't know how many discs the game comes with. If it's not enough to fill the whole board, just leave the bottom row(s) empty. In this case, you will also have to glue the lowest disc in each column in place, as well as the top one.
      - The biggest problem will be trying to make it look professional when you change the packaging on the box to reflect the game's new status.
