I barely remember it! I'm pleased if that little snippet bought back some happy memories for you...
@morrismagic08
Thanks for this. It's little memories of moments like this that make us human isn't it? I am pleased the Ad brought back some happy family memories for you.
Regards,
GLF
the TV Quick commercial featured a song That's The Way I Like It by Earth Wind and Fire, it was also used by the Nine Network in 1992, covering the song for the Still The One promo.
I used to watch 'Fiddler's Three' as a kid.
0:24 TV Quick, an advert for a magazine that was in nearly every ad break at the time, marking the time when TV Times had BBC listings, and Radio Times had ITV and Channel 4 listings for the first time. 0:42 One of Rod Hull's very few appearances on television since his (and Emu's) series had been axed a couple of years before - he was so close to losing all his earnings in the Recession that was to follow, and bankruptcy just a couple of years later. I remember the first TV Quick advert with Jeremy Beadle hit on the hit with a rolled up version of the magazine, by an old woman on a bus as I seem to remember.
That is the real Rod Hull.
It would not happen now but it was quite often done at the time of this trail,
I used to watch the programme you mentioned during the 1990s. I guess he was an alien and who was the key actress in that CITV programme?
