So here is a list of occupations Daffy had in the show -Hair Stylist -Water Polo Coach -Co-Restaurant Owner -marine/special ops -CEO -Manager of a cable company -Wizard -Actor -City Councilman -Flight Attendant -College Professor are we sure he peaked?
Not just "hair stylist" he's a licensed cosmetologist. Remember, he actually did all the work, went to all the classes, and passed qualifications. The only thing he didn't do was put his own name on his work.
I love how Daffy just removes his beak as easily as it would be blasted off in the classic shorts. This show doesn't usually display the cartoon physics of the shorts, but when it does, it's hilarious.
Tina's dad doesn't know that Daffy is a former Marine who freed prisoners from Albania, a skilled amateur beautician, and a former city councilman known for being honest with his constituents. If you ignore his massive personality flaws and negative credit score, he's actually kind of an impressive marriage prospect.
The chaos that ensues when lola and daffy are around eachother is always great. I've said it before but the fact Lola is never characterized like this again outside of this series is crazy to me. I wish this specific series' dynamics and personalities was the groundwork they had used going forward with these characters even after the show was over
I think that the next few LT productions that featured Lola (the Rabbits Run movie and New Looney Tunes) did keep her TLTS personality to an extent, though not many have seen or heard from them as most LT media from the 2010s is kinda overlooked. And she appeared very rarely in the latter. But still, she continued to have that characterization for a while longer. Though it's funny how this show and its improved portrayal of Lola gained a lot of popularity and recognition right around the same time as Space Jam 2 came out and tried and failed to do its own take on the latter. So with all the momentum that this show generated in the last few years, hopefully it's large enough for a revival (it deserved it a lot more than Tiny Toons imo, though I guess since Animaniacs was already revived before, the 2 90s spinoffs had to be brought back together) or for this portrayal of Lola to be used again in future productions. And I think she's kinda underutilized overall, most likely because of her "non classic era character" and "the girl from Space Jam" stigmas. Imo the best part of her TLTS portrayal is that it greatly helped in shaking off both of these labels and made her a more fleshed out and organic addition to the main cast, so the more she's portrayed like that the better.
Yeah he was kinda a comically chaotic asshole while bugs was the more neutral character which played well enough but in episodes like the foghorn leghorn play one it didn't turn out that well. In season 2 him, bugs, and porky(the main trio of the show) feel like actual friends and the second season was also more similair to the vibe the show was trying to acheive rather than the old looney tunes cartoons
I laughed out loud on the B plot on how Speedy quickly ended the trial by telling the judge that Daffy isn't even a real lawyer. Most shows just go along with the farce.
If you’re curious about Tina’s father, he’s actually voiced by Dennis Farina, who you may recognize from all all those gangster crime movies from the 80s to 90s, but was also on TV shows like Law and Order and Crime Story. Dude was an actual real life police detective too.
It's so wholesome how the first thing that Lola said after not talking for an entire year was "I miss Bugs". Side note: I really them to continue their Danganronpa let'splay.
I'm surprised that she still has the same voice because usually when people don't talk for a long while their voice goes deep. Speaking, no pun intended, from experience.
I always loved the Truffle episode of this series! Seeing Daffy and Porky go on an adventure is always fun to watch! And fun fact about truffle hunting, It is true that a lot of people use pigs to find them but some people also use dogs to find truffles as well since the sense of smell between pigs and dogs are pretty much the same. As for the episode where Daffy becomes a member of the city council, I actually relate to Daffy in that one because I sure as hell wouldn't want to spend my life attending a bunch of boring meetings and signing documents.
4:17 Three things I found funny here: 1) Porky stuttering even when he’s angry. 2) Daffy, calming and casually taking off his beak with no pops or cracks and with a neutral expression. 3) Your reactions to him taking off his beak.
My grandpa is named Paul, and he turned a tractor in to a Crain using 2 x 4s, and then he made a house using the the tractor Crain. Respect the name Paul.

I love these guys go from “Daffy is a piece of shit and Porky deserves better” to “Daffy is actually growing as a person and Porky needs to die” in a matter of minutes.

Daffy Duck Esquire is my favorite of this set, mostly because it gives Daffy some great character development. The back-half of Season 2 will continue to make Daffy more and more likable until the real series finale: Best Friends Redux.
@@Elephantsaresupreme It isn’t. It’s the aired series finale, not the produced final episode.
