I love the idea of being able to easily take out the 5-gallon freshwater bottles so you can fill them wherever purified water is sold. Brilliant.

Wow! This layout is exactly what I was looking for! It feels so spacious too. I would probably try to find a way to make the sitting space something that transforms into a shower maybe but I love the way it is. Good job guys!

Murphy beds are awesome in tiny spaces like this. My only concern would be the fact there’s no slats in the bed frame. That mattress needs air otherwise it’ll get mouldy very, very quickly

hi, how wide, side to side, is the panel that drops down? trying to figure out how wide across the drop down is if you don't include the counter on the opposite wall. and how deep is the wall unit with the drop down?

So when the bed is down, in that space where you put the yoga mat can you fit a ridge rest or narrow mattress, sleeping bag... and someone else sleep under there?

I love all the wood! I have been told that using wood in a van build isn't a good idea for two reasons: 1. too heavy and 2. issues with moisture and mold. Please help me to understand your thoughts on this. Fantastic and creative build!

Interesting design if I was going to nitpick I would question how easy it was to get in and out of that high bed but I'm sure a small wooden box or something would solve that, otherwise great design and BUILD!

It's beyond me why anyone would not want a toilet🤔.....it's like auto insurance....just on case....
There are great folding solutions that will be easy to store with this layout.
Depends on the size of the vehicle, travel destinations, holding tank, compactability, privacy location on board.

M T Mhm. Not during a pandemic. All gyms and non-essentials closed. Only ppl who’ve never suddenly needed a toilet thinks it’s easy to hold it while looking for an open unoccupied bathroom.
Every single 'vanlife' toilet is just a fancy bucket. That said, a dedicated place for any bucket, fancy or otherwise, would have been a good forethought.

They could, but you would lose access to the storage in the cabinets unfortunately.
As much as I love these Van's it's hard getting over the price. I can buy a Toyota 4 door 4x4 pick up truck and a small trailer for substantially less than an out fitted van. I can park the trailer and roam the area and much more. Also I can get more space in a trailer pick up truck combo.
South Hill Farm You make a series if well-reasoned points, however, I would respectfully submit that camper vans/stealth vans can be used to camp literally anywhere. Whereas a camper trailer attacked to a truck would draw the unwanted attention. Usually from law enforcement writing a ticket for being in a totally empty parking lot over night.
@@roadwarrior144 This is definitely one of my favorite purposes of the van! We typically have no issues with finding a place to park overnight (for free).
Everyone's needs and reasons are different. Happy to hear that you've found something that works for you to get out and enjoy the things you love doing! I personally love having everything together- there's no back and forth between spots, it's all just with you. Freedom is the perfect word to describe why we love our van so much.
It's all really about how heavy you get into it. If you can do the work yourself it's relatively inexpensive. I bought my Promaster with 15k miles on it, and fully built my van to my needs for under $24k all in.
A Z - They aren’t bums. The roadway is meant for vehicles. So what, if one happens to actually be an RV or FT living quarters.
"we told you what we wanted; you built us what we need!" a perfect collaboration, I'd say 👍 It's a great layout but I was disconcerted there was a surface power socket right next to the sink. Water and power do not mix!
I love this van so much it is so cute and Amazing I like it I have always dreamed of traveling around the world but my parents tells me that it is so stupid but when I am old I am going to travel around the world

Farah, not to disrespect your parents, but this is your life. Their generation did things differently. I'm like you and getting ready to hit the road soon. Do it! You never know what life will bring your way. Why put off until later what is tugging at your heart? Another thing that makes me want to do it now is life happens! One friend became a paraplegic at 23 and another's mom had a freak accident and is also in a wheel chair. DO IT NOW, while you have the ability. You just never know. Hope I see you on the road!

Why is the electric dodadery actually in the middle of the van? Weight? Wouldn’t storage for needed actual grab-a-bles be better at that location?

Thank you! Yes, the electrical over the wheel well is to add weight over the wheel wells. It helps the drive quite a bit. That is a little mini pantry, and has storage behind and above it for electronics as well. Thanks for watching!

They're all sewn together so that there is no separation- the clients said that it was comfortable :)
