We NEED more waterpark simulation games! After Planet Coaster 2, we will only have two REALLY good ones. I hope Planet Coaster 2 sparks inspiration to make some new management games in this genre.
Yeah it's way better than the planet coaster music. I hate that every song in there has the exact same melody, it makes me crazy. Sometimes I just put on Summer Air on RUclips and put it on repeat, and turn down the PlanCo music lol
It's insane how you seemingly can't overlisten to it. For most songs they get old and sometimes even annoying hearing so often but summer air just always works, honestly perfect choise for the background music in RCT3
what I'm hoping for: wild river/canyon slides (often see these in European water parks), customizable slide tube look (led, laser or natural light effects in the slide), pool bars, realistic entrances (like with changing rooms, shower rooms, lockers etc.), changeable water dephts, more unique water park attractions like Wiegand Cannonballs, enclosed quarterpipe elements on slides, play structures (see Rulantica outdoor section), slides starting in a pool (see master blast in Wild Wadi) the stand up surf slides or the jump slide looking like a ski jump at Galaxy Erding
I really hope Planco 2 gives us the option to build everything on the grid like in RCT. Maybe something like Theme Park Tycoon 2 in Roblox where most things are built on the grid, but there is a free move tool to move things anywhere.
I’m hoping the building system in Planet Coaster 2 will be a happy balance between Planet Coaster 1 and this, because I always really struggled with the finnicky building system in PlanCo. It was a struggle for me to build anything that looked good in Planet Coaster because it took so much time
Why? You have all the freedom AND a grid system. But grid systems suck unless for basic walls. I remember using custom scenery a lot in RCT3, and when you wanted to make a wall at 45 degrees, you had to model it in blender in 45 degrees and then import it to the game because there was literally no rotation other than 90 degrees. Small scenery pieces had to be imported several times in different positions, so you could actually build dense scenes. It was so fucking complicated but somehow we did it. What I hoped for PC2 is something like in the Sims. So basically drawing a building shape and then insert doors and windows. In PlanCo I hate the way you have to build windows, bc most of the time they're fake, and they're stuck against a wall, instead of being IN the wall
Another 300$ for Frontier? I don't think so... PC1 had success because it was a monopoly on the market, but it's not a AAA game, not worth even half the price we players had to pay for it. RCT was also a monopoly, but the price was fair, and when it was it's time, it was really good compared to other games, with or out of the genre(tycoon).

@@marmaliser8159 Yes I did, loved it. I don't know what you're referring too.
@@HayFatYT This game, RCT3. It's the only what I consider to be great waterpark game.

The music in rct 3>>
Couldn’t agree more!
I always changed the ambience music to JJs World
I personally love the soundtrack more than Planet Coaster
Yeah it really annoys me it's not on Spotify.

summer air is such an outrageous banger good lord. struggled to concentrate on the slides tbh
