I played it for 3 in game nights and that was it for me, my personal favorite royalloween update was for 2019, the candy store hunts were so fun, (although a little frustrating at times) i really wish they would bring that back.
Ngl, this royalloween update wasn't really giving what it's supposed to give, like I get that we're getting different stuff & trying something new.. and it felt so cheap & offbrand? I do NOT remember halloween 2018 being THIS strict, when I played during that time, everyone had fun & it wasn't timed due to a certain time limit. The ONLY thing I liked from the royalloween update is the bakery, that's pretty much it. Like baking has been my truest passion, and I was SO happy to see somethin' like that happen in Royale High! (I wonder if it'll stay during Glitterfrost & other seasons.) And what the hell happened to the diamonds to candy option?? Did people managed to hack the system, or did some players manage to ruin it for all the players who don't have time to farm for ONE singular accesory in game? Like gowl bye.. :/ For my honest rating, ima give this a 5/10, it could be better.. if it wasn't in Campus 4, why can't they decorate Earth during autumn from 2019? Or atleast give Campus 3 some activites to do, instead of standing around & being bored until we quit the game for good?!

I really wish there was a diamond to candy mechanic it would've helped my lazy motivated self by 100%. The update looks cute in design, but I wish the candy collecting had more earnings like 100 or more to help with less time of saving up for items.There are many ways to make the update more engaging l, and I wish the update was open without a te limit of it closing-opening. I'd give the update a 5/10 I mainly blame my laziness even though I tried a bit of everything, what I liked most was the acorn counting even if I was suffering from lag, lol. Other than that, I agree with the update being underwhelming because I only spent like a day or 2 exploring the update, and got bored and tired of the slow farming.
LITERALLY i woke up just about 2 hours ago and was about to do my candy bowls (i do them every hour due to being busy with art and studies so i cant grind much) and theyre just gone. join royale high campus 4 and you cannot claim any of the candy bowls. this is ridiculous. they bring the update 2 weeks late and dont even give us extra time to farm?? 😂 plus the shop was misleading as heck. at the time im writing this comment it will all basically go off sale day after tomorrow, so why’d they just remove the candy bowls now? why not remove them day after tomorrow??? it’s obvious they want money because traders sell steampunk items at over inflated diamond prices and the only way to get those amounts of diamonds is either work your butt off for months or use multipliers… which cost irl money.

honestly id already taken a long 2 year break back from 2020-22 but since then ive participated in every event, ive been playing since 2017. this was the first event that i didnt do anything in, tried on one day and just immediately gave up. so much potential yet the execution wasnt there. something was just so off and lacking the entire time
im honestly sad that besides the item prices being SO high, they barely gave us time to farm candies for them, cuz the update lasted like- 2 weeks?!? smh
I managed to get everything but if I hadn’t saved up loads of candy last year I definitely wouldn’t have been able to get everything and I didn’t have time to save up lots for next year either which I always like to do

This update really disappointed me a lot First I was waiting for MASCULINE toggles on the steampunk set but oh surprise, twink body again I really hate that the festival is on the campus 4, im a mobile player and I crash every time if I join Nothing new aside of the steampunk adds and another non free candy bag I really think they could done a nice update by not doing it on the 4th campus, they could’ve just add the coaster on wickery cliffs and other things instead of wasting time on the new campus that is just laggy asf Im a veteran player and this update really made me sad, royalloween is the only thing I wait on this dead game but well, seems like the devs try their best but is not enough and don’t get me started with the new “angelic promises set” I’d call it disappointing promises
Reason why Royaleween 2024 sucks in my opinion: 1. You have to work like a slave to get pennies (of a dollar) candies to buy some of the newer and expensive items. 2. The event to farm that many candies was not enough, and we could have used 2 more weeks at least. 3. I adore the festival event but it was more autumn themed- and it took too long to wait until the festival was open. 4. There was no chests in the new maze; there should not be a timer to make the players even more stressed out; and who the fuck ask for 20 different maps in each rotation? 5. I wish they actually did something I don't even know what I'm trying to say myself the steampunk set was disappointing when its November 1st tomorrow you best believe I'm waking up a 12am to make a Glitterfrost outfit. Tbh, the whole thing was kind of disappointing and I feel like I barely played the game over the course of 2 months. I feel like people have been playing a lot less recently and normal rh creators has switched to dti or other competing games and the community and game itself gets less boring, I’m not saying this because of the drama that happened even tho everyone was upset abt it, I’m saying the game is not as exciting as it used to be and the things they promised us aren’t being delivered, even the goddesses of triumph thing was not even close to success. The developers aren’t putting in as much effort as they used to and it shows. Wickery cliffs is a place everyone loves and it probably won’t be back. I’m not a hater, I’m just sharing my thoughts.
To me to update was just mid. Farming for candies felt more like a chore than for fun, due to the schedule. I’m sorry but who in their right mind is going to have fun picking up leaves or counting acorns, or baking on repeat. Atleast in Blackwood manner it was fun seeing all the different ghosts and sizes chasing them trying to compete to get the biggest ghost. And even whickery cliffs tricker treating was fun because u and the chance of getting spooked and killed by one of the vampires or twins or even the spider. This update had none of that it didn’t seem scary at all didn’t feel like royalween at all.
And this is a question i would want to ask the devs of royale high why is every stunning set behind a paywall and why is there no set that we can buy with our dims in the game if you want players to play and come back to rh then make sets we can actually get.
Can we talk about how it FORCED us into Campus 4 once the update actually came out? THEN there was the bug for a couple of days where you COULD NOT TELEPORT directly to Campus 3's Castle's Heart, it would just bring you to ANOTHER Campus 4 server. We barely had enough time to do anything, and people overall were just extra sour this update, even like 2 days ago I was ONCE AGAIN harassed for genuinely just talking in chat with my friends. At this point Royale High is killing itself and only seems to be keeping their attention on pumping out MORE toy sets (hooray genocide funding [sarcasm]), they don't listen to us anymore, and it all went downhill after about 2020-2021 or so. They continue to abandon more and more projects to start new ones because.. well, they're desperate to keep their player count. At this point, they should really just sell out like Bloxburg did, I don't think it'd be met with AS MUCH backlash if such a thing happened, or, they could just let the community work on it personally, there are a LOT of talented players on Royale High, if Barbie wants to keep her reputation and player count so badly, maybe she should make a smart choice for once in her life and employee people ACTUALLY part of this community, aside from the ones who have at least 25 halos. We don't need rich, we need talent, we need people who LISTEN and will ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING about the fate of this game before it falls into the shadows of obscurity like it has been over the years. Lizzy Winkle's passing was already one of the nails in the coffin, after that, Barbie's been burying herself alive and her childish ass husband is helping her dig her grave as we speak. We're doomed, and it's genuinely HER FAULT.

My only strife is this year's candy bag being 10k candy like 😟 if you wanted us to work for a collectable one time only item a scavenger hunt or some other mini game type would've sufficed but 10k when people barely reached to 5 is too much, didn't even get it cause I can't collect candy anymore and I was so close aswell! 😔
This update was in general just… empty, it’s fun at first, exploring the minigames, this and that etc etc but, the corn maze could easily be cheated by putting on “royale day” (in settings) and zooming out to see it, which was kind of disappointing, and second, you have to wait a bunch of time for the actual festival to begin, which is just boring. Plus due to the limited tix used for minigames, it could easily run out with a few, and in general, this update is mostly server hop everywhere until you find a good server… It’s very limited tbh, and I don’t know if it happened to other, but, for me the baking minigame broke a few times and I couldn’t do anything, so it was a waste of tix… The costumes are a good idea, but honestly I’d just go to ssi. I understand that the devs are busy and have their own lives, but it was just… no. Plus the candy bags are another thing, 10000 candies for a cross bag? A monster bag…? What happened to free bags😭😭… Ngl all they focus on now is the doll sets

I was hoping to farm this year but you can’t constantly farm? That’s ridiculous that you have to attend school just to pick apples, they got rid of Enchantix high so you can’t even farm much anymore, and they didn’t bother decorating earth and instead focused on campus 4, this royallween update is lazy, boring, and only pleasing aesthetically. The bakery was good though but that’s it, they better do good on Glitterfrost this year

It looks like the starlight halo, just slightly different😭. Don't get me started that they released 2 toy sets but no diamond ones. As an international player, I can't get SHIT. It's so frustrating and I'm NOT paying 2-10M for a one-piece set😭. Haibo man. It's too much eh🙏 And what made it worse is the time for the festival, lowkey would've been better if you could go any time during the day which would give more time to get candy. It was definitly better than last year's but compared to ROYALE HIGH UPDATES WE KNOW, this was NOT it. Felt like a fever dream. It wasn't even halloween-coded, it was just autumn-themed. 😭☠️ The last good halloween update was in 2022 when the whimsy witch set released with WICKERY CLIFFS😩. It kept me addicted!! I wished that instead of making the updates in campus 4 or do that but bring back the realms as well.

I… honestly? I adored the bakery with all my heart. Ngl, I love all of rhs updates so.. though it did get boring quick. It’s fine though. I’m excited to try to get the glitter frost halo!! let’s hope glitter Frost is fun. I hope the advent calendar doesn’t have more furry items… (after the deer shoes, I think I’m good on furry items haha. /j) anyway, you’re entitled to your opinion. And I agree that it was underwhelming. I hated that you barely got candies from each thing though. That was irritating.
My only strife is this year's candy bag being 10k candy like 😟 if you wanted us to work for a collectable one time only item a scavenger hunt or some other mini game type would've sufficed but 10k when people barely reached to 5 is too much, didn't even get it cause I can't collect candy anymore and I was so close aswell! 😔
This update was in general just… empty, it’s fun at first, exploring the minigames, this and that etc etc but, the corn maze could easily be cheated by putting on “royale day” (in settings) and zooming out to see it, which was kind of disappointing, and second, you have to wait a bunch of time for the actual festival to begin, which is just boring. Plus due to the limited tix used for minigames, it could easily run out with a few, and in general, this update is mostly server hop everywhere until you find a good server… It’s very limited tbh, and I don’t know if it happened to other, but, for me the baking minigame broke a few times and I couldn’t do anything, so it was a waste of tix… The costumes are a good idea, but honestly I’d just go to ssi. I understand that the devs are busy and have their own lives, but it was just… no. Plus the candy bags are another thing, 10000 candies for a cross bag? A monster bag…? What happened to free bags😭😭… Ngl all they focus on now is the doll sets

I was hoping to farm this year but you can’t constantly farm? That’s ridiculous that you have to attend school just to pick apples, they got rid of Enchantix high so you can’t even farm much anymore, and they didn’t bother decorating earth and instead focused on campus 4, this royallween update is lazy, boring, and only pleasing aesthetically. The bakery was good though but that’s it, they better do good on Glitterfrost this year

It definitly disappointed me. I was so excited thinking we'd get a new diamond set. I didn't even have time to farm for the other steampunk items... The halo, I'm sorry, I dislike it. It looks like the starlight halo, just slightly different😭. Don't get me started that they released 2 toy sets but no diamond ones. As an international player, I can't get SHIT. It's so frustrating and I'm NOT paying 2-10M for a one-piece set😭. Haibo man. It's too much eh🙏 And what made it worse is the time for the festival, lowkey would've been better if you could go any time during the day which would give more time to get candy. It was definitly better than last year's but compared to ROYALE HIGH UPDATES WE KNOW, this was NOT it. Felt like a fever dream. It wasn't even halloween-coded, it was just autumn-themed. 😭☠️ The last good halloween update was in 2022 when the whimsy witch set released with WICKERY CLIFFS😩. It kept me addicted!! I wished that instead of making the updates in campus 4 or do that but bring back the realms as well.
the halloween update sucked they should have made the shop clean and tight instead of a mess I'm never getting hyped again for the Halloween update they did not give us enough time to farm which is sad so I'm hoping glitterfrost is better instead of royale high halloween we need wickery cliffs back and ghost hunting I gave the update 2/10
